Every person has a hobby, which he/she do in their spare time. From a stranger's point of view, writing may appear just my hobby. But the reality is far away from this. From childhood, I was an extremely extroverted personality. Debates extempore were my all-time favorite activity and holding the mic, standing on stage every time, in every competition gave me immense happiness and beautiful memories whether I won or lose the competition. Till 9th and 10th standard I was only aware of my love for voicing out my opinions. About my academics neither I was a nerd nor an average scores. My percentage was always dancing between 80 to 85%, neither increased nor decreased throughout my junior classes. If someone asks me which academic year of my life was memorable my answer will be my 10th standard. Because in the same year I was so depressed and in the same year I started writing. I couldn't cope up with my studies,
maths became my biggest phobia, in the same year I won my first gold medal in chess.
I couldn't cope up with my studies,
maths became my biggest phobia, in the same year I won my first gold medal in chess, in the same year I was taken to principal office for low score in my exams. For an active and attentive s student like me, it was a very humiliating experience of my life. That day I learned another lesson that average scorers are very strong, that's why most successful people were backbenchers in their school life because they know how to face failures, which nerds don't know.
Hindi as a language appears more beautiful and meaning full to me. Rather than using cuss words, I find the sarcasm that too especially in Hindi more effective to directly make someone feel guilty, ashamed or to make a dent in someone's ego. On a random day, my Hindi teacher Mrs. Suman Shekhawat asked us to write few rhymes of our own randomly. I completed my piece of writing seriously.
My Madam appreciated my first poem genuinely and wholeheartedly. And thanks to her I realized my writing talent. If mam won't have motivated me, I think it won't be possible to ever realize my talent.
Writing became my stress-buster in 10th standard. In my 10th CBSE board, I scored 72%which shook my confidence. No matter how understanding parents you have but as their daughter, I can read my mother's disappointment with my results.
In my 11th class, I got the opportunity to recite my poems on festivals or special themes at MyFm 94.3.Thanks to RJ Ria mam and the whole staff for trusting me.
Meanwhile, during my 11th and 12th classes, I became an avid reader. At the end of my 11th class, I started writing short stories followed by a full-fledged novel in 12class.
After completion of my 12th boards, I started posting my debut novel on my Wattpad and Inkitt accounts. I have received many offers from other reading apps providing handsome pay. But, I rejected them because my real income is my readers and the bonus is their honest response towards the novel. I am just 20years old and I don't know whether my story inspires someone or not. But, one thing I would love to highlight, no matter how anxious, depressed alone you are feeling just indulge yourself in your hobby. Trust me it's the best therapy and antidepressants of life. People who believe the only option they have is smoking and alcohol, open your eyes. If anyone is reading this I am a live example in front of you.
My hobby of writing is not my success mantra it is my backbone, my support system during my ups and downs, after my family and friends.
Another opinion I would like to share never give up on your mother tongue and native language. One should feel ashamed before saying 'meri Hindi kharab hai'.
I am writing a novel  Manan:his 10th PA and till today I am working on my grammar and writing skills.
I don't know whether my journey is inspirational, even I am not sure should  it be named as a journey. Because I am a growing writer and will grow till my last breath.
