As it turns out, our field trip to queens was mostly me sitting and being polite with my wings tucked in. We were in a small apartment sitting with May, apparently she is Peter's aunt. Peter being the one we are here for. There is some polite chitchat and Tony does most of the talking, I'm posing as an intern or something.

The door opens, "Hey, May." A high schooler walks in carrying a keyboard and backpack.

"Mmm. Hey." She sets down her cup.

The kid doesn't notice us and sets his things down walking into the kitchen.

"How was school today?" May asks.

"It was okay. This crazy car is parked outside." He stops dead in his tracks noticing us, well Tony. No one knows me without the wings.

"Oh, Mr. Parker." Tony says.

"Um." He starts stammering over his words, "wh-What are you doing....Hey! Uh, I'm Peter."

"Tony." Stark adds.

"What are you doing here?" The poor kid is shell shocked.

"It's about time we met. You've been getting my emails, right?" Tony lies.

"Yeahhhh." At least Peter is trying to play along. "Regarding theee-"

May cuts him off, "You didn't even tell me about the grant."

Peter plays along "About the grant"

"The September foundation." Tony gives more clues.

"Right." Peter says. The poor kid is over his head in this.

"Remember when you applied?" Tony asks.

"Yeah." The kid says hesitantly.

"I approved so now we're in business." Tony says taking a sip of his coffee.

"But you didn't tell me anything. What's up with that? You keeping secrets from me now?" May asks him.

"Well I just know how much you love surprises. So I thought I would let you know..." he turns to Stark, "anyways what did I apply for."

"That's what I'm here to hash out." Tony says putting the coffee back down.

"Okay. Hash it out, okay." Peter crosses his arm. Poor kid.

"It's so hard for me to believe that she's someone's aunt." Tony says.

I kick Tony's shin to have him stop flirting and pay attention to why we are here.

May chuckles, "yeah, well, we come in all shapes and sizes, you know?"

Of course Tony ignores me, "This walnut date loaf is exceptional."

"Let me just too you there." Peter says.

"Yeah." Stark let's him go on.

"Is this grant got money involved or whatever? No?" Peter asks rocking back on his feet a little bit.

"Yeah, it's pretty well funded." Tony says.

"Yeah? Wow." Peter says.

"Look who you're talking to. Can I have five minutes with him?" Tony asks aunt may.

"Sure." May says and they both go into his room. Leaving me with her. Why I am even here?

After a bit of polite conversation we leave with Peter in tow.

"What was the point of that?" I ask him.

"Meet your new side kick, feathers." I look back at the kid in the backseat.

"Fantastic." I say sarcastically.

"Uh. Who-Who's she?" He asks.

"Oh you'll see." Stark says.

The ride back to Germany is filled with a lot of questions, all from Peter. About how my wings work, about my powers, asking me to put things into my external dimension and take them out again.

After several hours of this I sigh and look at Stark, "And this is our best shot Tony?"

"Yep, you told us where to look, and I provide the manpower." Tony says.
