How'd you find us now

I plop back down on the couch. "Well I'll take some tea."

"You will?" Zemo asks, he sounds pleasantly surprised at my response.

I shrug, "Might as well. I'm stuck with you anyways."

We drink the tea in silence for a few moments before Zemo speaks up, "Do you miss it?"

I look over at him, "Miss what?" I set down the cup.

"Killing. The fight. Running missions. Following orders." Zemo says bluntly, "What else would I ask you about?"

I narrow my eyes at him, "No. I don't."

He studies my reaction, pausing before continuing to speak, "You're lying." I open my mouth to protest but he holds up a finger and keeps talking, "Maybe you don't miss the killing, but I saw you in Madripoor. The fight is a part of you. Why else would you be here? Fighting along side Sam and James."

"What I choose to do has nothing to do with you Zemo." I answer.

"But it does angel rezni. The other two," Zemo shrugs, "have grown soft. But you and I. When we find Karli we can end it before it gets any worse." Zemo's tone is soft, sweet. Trying to lull me into doing what he wants. "We both know she won't stop. She will trap others, grow her army by any means. Karli is too far gone."

Zemo stands up walking around behind the couch, placing his hands on my shoulders as he whispers in Russian, close enough that his lips almost brushing against my ears. "You are an angel, designed for revelation, for carnage and death. Made more beautiful to enact justice. Her abilities, the abilities Karli plans to give to others those were all born from the minds of Hydra. It's your sacred duty to stop that isn't it? And all you have to do is say you're ready to comply."

A door opens and Zemo pulls away from me quickly. I shake my head, trying to clear my mind of the thoughts Zemo was placing there.

"I got a lead let's go." Sam says, not noticing anything out of the ordinary.

As soon as we start to walk down the street we hear Walker call out.

"Karli Morgenthau is too dangerous for you guys to be pulling this shit." He sounds more than annoyed.

"Ah! How'd you find us now?" Bucky calls out to him as we approach.

"Come on man. You really think three Avengers can walk around Latvia without drawing attention?" Lemar says.

"No more keeping us in the dark." Walker commands. "You can start by telling us why you broke him out of prison." He points to Zemo.

"He did that himself, technically." Bucky sasses.

"Oh this better be an unbelievable explanation." Walker says, his voice raising as he gets close.

Sam puts a hand to his chest, "Hey, take it easy before it gets weird."

I nod to some guys standing not far off filming and taking pictures. "In case you haven't noticed, the world is watching."

Walker backs off a little bit.

"I know where Karli is." Zemo tells him and starts walking.

Walker puts a hand to his chest stopping him, "Well where?"

"Look all we know is, it's a memorial. So we're gonna intercept her there." Sam explains.

"That means civilians. High risk of casualties." Lemar comments.

"All right, good. We'll move in fast. Take her by surprise." Walker states. Still thinking he is control I see.

"No. I wanna talk to her alone." Sam tells him.

"I'm not losing her again" Walker counters.
