It was a day or so later when Sam calls, "Lene. I think we have some issues."

"Issues aside from the new Captain America?" I tuck the phone between my ear and shoulder as I pull a water bottle from the fridge.

"Bigger than that. The LAF group Torres was telling us about. I think they're super soldiers." Sam says.

I nearly spit out my water, "That's a joke right." Nothing, "Sam. You're kidding me right?"

"I'll send you the footage now." Sam says grimly.

I feel my phone buzz and I watch the footage. "Sam, we have to find out for ourselves if this is real or not."

"Torres took that video, it's real." Sam replies.

"Well shit." I sigh. I'll suit up then.

"What? No permission slip this time?" Sam jokes trying to lighten the mood.

"I'm a free agent thanks to you." I tell Sam.

He sighs, "Yeah, well the shit we are about to get into. You might not be for long."

I nod to myself, "Well I'll see you soon then."

We hang up and I immediately grab what I need and set off to meet up with Sam at an airforce base.

Sam is staring at a poster of John Walker when I walk up to him. "It's some bullshit isn't it?" I shake my head.

"Good to see you too Lene." Sam pats my shoulder.

We aren't left waiting as Torres walks up to us. "Seems like a good guy? Have you met him?" He asks us.

I shake my head no.

"No I haven't. Thanks for doing this on such short notice." Sam says as we walk down in the hanger.

"Yeah. No sweat. I'm just finding up the checklist. You'll be all good to go once you land in Munich." Torres says.

As we descend the staircase I see Bucky and my breath catches.

"Shouldn't have given up the shield." Bucky marches up to Sam angrily.

"Good to see you too, Buck." Sam replies before walking right past him.

Bucky looks at me but doesn't say anything, following after Sam. "This is wrong."

"Hey, hey, look, I'm working, all right? So all this outrage is gonna have to wait." Sam tells him, clearly annoyed.

"You didn't know that was gonna happen?" Bucky asks him.

"No, of course I didn't know that was gonna happen. You think it didn't break my heart to see them march him out there and call him the new Captain America?" Sam tells him.

"This isn't what Steve wanted." Bucky responds.

"Oh my god. What do you want me to do? Call America and tell 'em I changed my mind? Huh?" Sam let's out a sarcastic chuckle. "Yeah right. It's a great reunion buddy, be well."

Bucky ignore his comments, "You had no right to give up the shield, Sam."

"Hey. This is what you're not gonna do. You're not gonna come here in your overextended life and tell me about my rights." Sam is clearly getting angry at this point.

"Sam." I call out and he looks at me and I give him a small shake of my head, signaling for him to cool it.

"It's over Bucky. Besides, I have bigger things to deal with now." Sam says, his tone a lot calmer.

"What could be bigger than this?" Bucky asks sadly.

Sam pulls out his phone. "This guy. His connections with rebel organizations all over Eastern and Central Europe. And he's strong. Too strong."

"And?" Bucky says still not getting it.

"Well, he's been connected to this online group called the Flag Smashers. Now, redwing traced them to a building somewhere outside of Munich. So that's where we're going." Sam tells him.

"Well I don't trust redwing. Hold on a minute." Bucky retorts.

"You don't have to trust redwing but we're gonna go see if he's right. Cause I have a feeling they might be a part of the Big Three." Sam gestures to me.

"What big three?" Bucky asks.

"The big three." Sam repeats.

"What big three?" Bucky asks again.

"Androids, aliens, and wizards." Sam says like it's the most obvious thing in the world.
