𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 (𝙅.𝙈.)

Once we left the docks, me and John B decided that we would go to try and surf these waves. I looked out into the water and realized that there was no way we would be able to surf these. And even I'm a pro. "These aren't surf able waves" I told John B as we walked onto the beach.

"Come on Liz, we'll be fine" John B said with a smile. I shook my head but decided to surf anyway. There were a few times I was swallowed by the horrific waves but managed to somehow pull myself back up. "Liz, come here real quick" John B said in a confused tone. I brought my board right up beside him and followed his eyes to see him staring directly at a boat.

"Is that a boat?" I asked, surprised that someone would try fishing in this mess. "I think so" John B replied. With that, me and him decided that it was time to head home. It was starting to get dark anyways.

When we arrived back at the chateau, I was surprised to see that JJ was back from whatever he was doing while we were gone. It was starting to get really dark so we all decided it was best to stay in for tonight.

"Where have you been?! Your meeting with DCS was like 4 hours ago!" JJ said to me, almost as if he was concerned. "Is someone worried about me?" I said getting closer to him with a grin. "What if I was?" JJ said with a smile, getting closer to me as well. Our faces were inches apart.

"Get a room" John B said, rolling his eyes. "Someones jealous" I rolled my eyes back at him. John B went into our dad's room, where he had been sleeping the past nine months. Him and dad always had a stronger bond then me and dad. I never really got along with our father because it seemed as if he cared more about a stupid shipwreck than us.

Before we knew it, it was almost midnight. By this time, the wind had picked up and it was absolutely pouring. I looked out my bedroom window, as all of us had already went to bed, and looked out at the marsh. I watched as a few branches snapped from the trees.

Damn I hate hurricanes.

I went to turn on the lights as I wanted a glass of water, but the power was out. "Shit" I mumbled under my breath. I grabbed a bottled water and started to head back towards my room, when I saw JJ sleeping on the pull out couch very peacefully. I smiled at the sight. I went over and laid in the spot next to him, as he would sometimes do to me.

He was half asleep but wrapped his arms around me. We've done this some many times before but this time felt so different. It was that night, right then and there, when I realized how I felt towards this boy.
