𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 (𝙅.𝙈.)

"Yeah, you know what that is" JJ says as he holds the gun to Topper's head. "Let her go or I swear I'll shoot you" he adds. "JJ put the gun down!" Sarah yells at JJ. "Did you say something princess?" He replies.

"Kie can you check your psycho friend please?!" Sarah asks Kie as she goes to check on her boyfriend. Of course she would, even after I'm the one who almost died. "Ok everyone listen up!" JJ yells at the crowd. By this time I've gotten up and got myself out of the water.

"Everyone get the hell off our side of the island!" JJ yells then shoots two bullets into the air. "J! Calm down!" I yell as I step in front of him. He pushes right passed me but before he can take this any farther, Pope lightly pushes him.

"Are you crazy?! You idiot!" He yells at JJ. "J! You're scaring me!" I yell at him. "I was saving her life ok?! I was saving your life Liz!" He yells back at me. John B had passed out from all the punches Topper gave him and was just now getting up.

We all heard a large splash and looked back towards the ocean. John B had just passed out in the water, again. "John B!" Kie yelled, rushing to his side. I ran after her, JJ and Pope following me.

Kie was crying and so was I. Today was very stressful and I felt as if I was on the edge of a stress attack. I cried as I saw my brother laying lifeless in the water. I turned into JJ's chest and absolutely lost it.

When we arrived back at the chateau, JJ and Pope placed John B in his bed before saying goodbye to me. JJ decided that he needed to go home tonight, he was running out of clean clothes anyways.

The next morning I woke up to hear someone walking into my brother's room. I quietly snuck around the corner to see him talking with sheriff peterkin.

"DCS called, they wanted me to check in on you guys and see how how your doing. So how is the..." she circled around her eye referring to the big bruise my brother had. "Oh we're great, ya, fantastic. Thanks for stopping in" he replied

"I'm so glad to here you say that John B. But I heard a few things that worried me" she states. Me and John B walked around to pick up some beer bottles that had been left out in the open.

"Oh yeah, one of the things that worried me is that I heard your uncle hasn't been in the state for three months" she adds. "Oh that's not true" I pitch in. "Really? I talked with the school, they said you both used to be straight A students" she replies.

"Hey, I'm only failing social studies, and same with John B" I say. "And plus, the dude's a dick he's got it out for us both" John B adds. I nod in agreement. "I heard there was a gun involved in a fight on the beach yesterday" she states.

"Ok maybe we got in a fight but there wasn't a gun" I say. "It's ok, I know who it was I'll get to him" hearing her words, I froze. The thought of JJ going to jail sent shivers down my spine. I can't imagine what life would be like without him. "All I'm worried about is making sure you kids are in a safe home" she adds.

"It's safe" I say. John B knocks on the wall. "See, it's sturdy" I shrug. "I'll help you if you're willing to help me. Stay out of the marsh for a few days, and I just might be able to help you both with your DCS case" she says before leaving.

Later in the day, we went and met up with the rest of the crew. ""Peterkin said that if we stay out of the marsh for a few days, she'll help us with our DCS case" John B tells the group. "And you guys believed her?" JJ asks.

"Of course John B does, but if I'm gonna be honest, she was acting sorta sus" I state. "You believed an actual cop?" JJ asks my brother after hearing what I said. "Look, all we gotta do is stay out of the marsh for a couple days and she'll help us out. And it doesn't help that your ass was the one who was shooting a gun" John B shoots at him.

"You know what, at least I actually care about your sister. Cause clearly you don't" JJ shoots back. "Look J, I love you and thanks for saving my life but you didn't have to actually shoot" I told JJ. "Well I was pissed ok?" He replies. I went silent.

"They always win. Kooks vs. pogues. They always win!" JJ shouts and punches an old buoy that was hanging from the ceiling. "It's ok!" Kie yells trying to calm him down. "No it's not!" JJ cuts her off "They don't want us to go down into the marsh so that means there's something valuable down there and you know it man" JJ points at John B.

"Sorry JB, I have to agree with J on this one" I state. "Thank you!" JJ says to me. "I understand why you don't wanna go Pope, you're the golden boy and you Kie, well you're already rich as fuck anyway" JJ says to the group. "But you, me, and Liz... we got nothing to loose man" JJ puts a hand on John B's shoulder.

"You got the key to Cameron's big boat right? There's scuba gear in there. We can just borrow that then go down to the wreck this afternoon and that's what gonna save both your asses man. You don't see rich kids going to foster care do you?" JJ tells John B. "JB, if you don't sneak onto that boat I will" I say.
