I woke up in the dentist's office feeling numb. I had gotten my wisdom teeth taken out. I wasn't allowed to walk out yet either, I get to be on a wheelchair though when we leave. This other lady was with me too, I just don't know who she is.

"Who are you?" I said, trying to point to where the strange lady was.

"(Y/N), I'm your girlfriend, Emma." She said, while trying not to laugh.

"You are? Woah. You're hot. Did you know that?" I said to Emma. "Yes, you've told me that before." Emma said before laughing again.

The nurse came in and started talking to Emma about something.

"Helloooooo miss nurse lady. Did you know she's my girlfriend?" I said while waving to her and pointing towards Emma.

"I didn't know that. Good to know." The nurse responded. "Yeah, I didn't know that either. Isn't she cool?" I said, while Emma grabbed my hand.

"She's very cool. You're very lucky (Y/N)." the nurse said, as Emma and her shared a glance. "Yeah... Emma's pretty lucky too." I said as gauze fell out of my mouth.

"Emma. I think my tongue fell out. Look. It looks pretty weird. Do you want it?" I said as I held it up. "No, I'm okay. You can keep it." Emma said as she stifled a laugh.

"Anywayyyy Emmaaa do you want to marry me? You seem cool." Both Emma and the nurse started laughing. "What's so funny? Are you gonna say no? Don't hurt my feelings like that! You all are so mean!" I said, as I looked at both of them.

"Maybe if you ask me when you aren't high I will say yes." Emma said as she helped me into the car. "Okayyy I can wait til then. Byeeeee miss nurse laddyyyyy." I said as we started driving away.

I fell asleep shortly after and woke up to someone shaking me. "(Y/N) ...(Y/N) wake up..." Emma said as she was shaking me softly. My eyes fluttered open to see Emma hovering over me. I felt pretty groggy but it's nothing too bad. She helped me out of the car, and I went to take the gauze out before going back to bed.
