Emma was out of the house with her friend for the day and (Y/n) was at home before he had to go to work. He wrote Emma a note for Emma to find when she got home before he left, with many spelling errors.

(Y/n) has dyslexia, so spelling, reading, and writing are all hard for him. He left the note on the kitchen counter, before leaving the house. When Emma arrived back home, her friend had come with her. She went to put her stuff down when her friend came across the note. "Emma? I think this is for you." Her friend said, slightly confused. Emma grabbed the note and didn't even have to look at it before she knew who it was from.

"Oh! (Y/n) left this for me!" Emma said sweetly, as she read the note. She read the note, understanding what it said even through all the mistakes. "Emma how can you possibly read that?" Her friend asked, dumbfounded that she was able to read this note with no problems. "It's actually really simple. (Y/n) has dyslexia, so spelling is hard for him. This isn't the first note, he's written many before. They're really cute." Emma took the note and translated it to her friend. Her friend sat there, amazed at how she knew this so well.

"Wow. You must have had to learn exactly how he writes then." Emma's friend said. "Yeah, but I don't mind. The notes are cute; besides, I like getting them. It wasn't hard to learn how he writes, not at all. I kind of just understood them already. Like, he gets me, and I get him. We have a special bond like that." Emma said, smiling at the note as she looked at it again. She admired the note, how his spelling was off but, it still was a very sweet note, nonetheless.

Once her friend had left, Emma went to her closet and pulled out an old shoebox. She opened the box and stuck the note with all the others he had written to her before, but not before reading them all over again. She kept every single one of his notes that he wrote her, even though he had made many spelling errors, and every time she read them she couldn't help the smile that appeared on her face and the love she felt swelling up in her heart.
