Over the quarantine Michael had found a new hobby, making TikToks. He had made a few before with his friends, but he had never really been involved in it. His videos weren't necessarily dancing, they were more comedic and relatable.

For example, he had posted tiktoks about school and how he wasn't very good at math. Everyone had found those relatable, and the videos went viral. Michael was also especially talented at doing transitions. He already had a large following because of who he was, but even more people had started to follow him and become a fan.

Of course, Emma didn't get why he was doing weird things on his phone camera while recording it, but she just left him alone and let him do his thing. He had explained it to her over and over again, but she never really understood it.

(Y/n) would sometimes get involved in his videos, but only one or two. They both would try a dance or something and fail miserably, but everyone loved to see (Y/n) and Michael try to do it anyway. The duo was definitely popular on the app whenever they posted together.

"What on earth are you two doing?" Emma asked one time, seeing the two doing an awkward dance in front of Michael's phone. All she had came in for was to make some lunch and then go do some more work, but now she was roped into whatever they were up to. "A TikTok! You wanna try it? Me and dad can teach you!" Michael offered, stopping the video. She sat there for a second, trying to see if she actually wanted to do this. "Sure?" She agreed, but it sounded more like a question.

And so, the two boys tried to the best of their ability to teach Emma the renegade, which went surprisingly well. It took about ten minutes, and Emma was a quick learner. It was mainly (Y/n) who needed to be retaught the dance moves. "Okay. I think you've both got it, or at least enough to know the general idea of what you're doing. Do you want to film it now?" Michael asked, (Y/n) nodding with no hesitation. Emma agreed as well, and so they all filmed the TikTok.

Once it was perfect, or mostly when Emma had enough of it, they stopped filming and Michael posted the video. Within minutes, this video was the most popular one on his profile. Everyone loved seeing Michael and his parents, especially because the two parents had both stopped posting on social media and were on a break from everything that made them famous.

Michael continued to post on TikTok, his parents not really being in any except one or two. Emma still didn't really understand the whole point, but she was fine with that. The two spent most of the quarantine hanging out with each other when Michael didn't have online school, or wasn't playing video games with his friends, or making tiktoks.

(Y/n) had been busy doing his own thing, mostly doing his own work and reading scripts for movies he was considering starring in once they could go on set. He did have time for making tiktoks with Michael and playing video games with him though, and he even contemplated making his own TikTok. He had decided not to, since he didn't want to deal with social media and having to manage it. He was fine with making cameos in Michael's videos every once in a while.

Michael did end up posting less once he was able to go out and resume a somewhat normal life, but he still posted a lot, just not as much as before. He had even gotten verified on TikTok, which he was alright with.

He only posted with his friends when he was with them, and the rare video with Emma or (Y/n), maybe even both of them. TikTok was definitely one of his favorite social media accounts, and he enjoyed posting on there.
