(Y/n) had pressed the call button on his cell phone, trying to reach Emma. After a few rings, the phone picked up. "(Y/n)? Are you alright?" Emma asked, probably knowing what was going on. (Y/n) was stuck in America for his new film, while Emma was in London staying in their shared home. But, since Covid-19 had started showing up, the U.K had stopped international travel, meaning (Y/n) couldn't get back.

"I cant get back. London stopped international travel. I'm stuck here." Emma sighed hearing the news. They were both stuck in different countries during the lockdown. "There's no other way. Maybe the lockdown won't be too long. We'll make it through this." Emma told him, trying to reassure herself as well.

Over the next few weeks, both countries were on lockdown and could not leave their house unless it was essential. It was already hard enough being stuck in the house, but it was even worse for the two since they weren't with each other. They always thought if something like this happened, they would be getting through it with each other.

They made sure to be in contact with each other as much as possible. Facetime calls were frequent between the two, but (Y/n) was slowly becoming unmotivated to get up and do anything remotely productive. Being away from Emma and not being able to go back to her was taking a toll on him, and the whole situation of the pandemic wasn't helping either. By April, he was completely worn out.

As he sat in bed, his phone started buzzing, Emma calling him. He turned over and picked up the phone and pressed the answer button, her face showing up on the call. "Hi (Y/n), how are you?" Emma asked, noticing the bags under his eyes on the screen. "Fine. Just a little tired is all." He answered, as Emma looked skeptical but didn't pursue it any further. As they talked, Emma noticed (Y/n)'s demeanor. He had seemed more tired and not his usual self.

"(Y/n) ...please be honest. Are you okay? You look so drained, and your not really yourself. I want to help you."Emma asked honestly, her eyes full of concern. "I don't know. It's just weird. You're not here and I cant really go back. And I'm stuck in this small dreary apartment all day. It sucks. I just miss you is all I guess. It feels too tiring to even do anything." He answered, Emma always knew how to make him talk. It was a talent of hers.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner? (Y/n), it'll be okay. Not too much longer and we can be back with each other. I know it seems hopeless, but we can get through this. As long as we keep facetiming and stuff we can see each other. I know it's not the same but it's what works for now. You need to get up though, make yourself a proper meal and just do one thing remotely active. It can even be just taking the trash out, just as long as you get up and do one thing I'll be proud of you. You can do this; I have complete faith in you. I love you (Y/n), so, so much." Emma told him, giving him the motivation he needed to survive this lockdown.

Over the course of the next month, (Y/n) had been more active and did as much as he could with being stuck in the house. Emma was his motivation to make the best of what was happening in the world. Emma Watson was truly his rock, and (Y/n) (L/n) was Emma's rock. They both relied on each other during these times, even if they weren't physically together.
