Facebook Mom

Emma had recently gotten Facebook, since she thought it would be fun and she could keep in touch with her family, and was now known as what some would call, a Facebook mom. Despite (Y/n) telling her it was for old people, she made him get one too. He never posts on it, but the account exists. Emma's account is a different story.

While it was only for family and close friends, she still used it the most out of all her social media's. It was the only one her manager didn't control. There were four categories of things she posted. There was photos of Michael, photos of (Y/n) and her together, selfies of her, and book recommendations.

(Y/n) would be blocked at least twice a week after he kept calling her boring when she posted her book recommendations on her account. She would always unblock him an hour after because she felt bad that she blocked him, but she would block him again the next time she posted a book recommendation and he commented on it. The other things she posted were far more entertaining, but for different reasons.

She would post cute photos of Michael doing literally anything. Since he was one year old and people thought babies were cute, he was very popular on her page. But not (Y/n)'s photos, those weren't cute. (Y/n)'s photos were horrible. He thought they were embarrassing. Everyone else thought they were funny except for him, but he could get over it, since Emma now had to ask for permission before posting a photo of him.

She also posted photos of (Y/n) and her together, and those were the only ones he looked good in. Most of them were throwbacks from when they were younger on red carpets and together on set or from before they had Michael, since she had gotten the app as a quarantine thing so she could talk to friends and family and share whatever it was they were doing before she had gotten addicted to it. Luckily, the account was private, or else all of these photos would be everywhere on the internet.

Although anyone could find this account and request to follow it, since Emma hadn't done a good job of being discreet about having the account. She had set her profile picture to a picture of Michael and her that the public hadn't seen before and put a link to her book club in her bio.

She also used hashtags in her photos she posted no matter what the photo was. For example, she had posted a photo of Michael asleep in his crib with blankets and stuffed animals around him and captioned it 'Michael catching some zzzz's after a long day of playing #bedtime'.

To be fair though, she can't really post many hashtags in her posts that everyone could see, since she had to be professional. She also never posted pictures of her family, since her Instagram account was more of a business and professional account, and family didn't fit into that unless they were involved with the organization or topic she was posting about. That was another reason why she had made this Facebook account, to post and show her love for her family.

She didn't want the public knowing too much about their lives, especially Michael's, so having it private and limiting the people who could see it was a smart move on her part. Her Facebook was 90% Michael, 5% book recommendations, 4% her and (Y/n), and 1% selfies of her. There were a few photos of Emma and Michael, but not too many, along with (Y/n) and Michael.

There was one photo of (Y/n) and Michael playing with blocks in the living room that Emma posted, with the caption being 'My two favorite boys #Partnersincrime #SundayFunday'.

And there was one selfie of Emma and one of her books, with Michael asleep on her chest in his pajamas, his thumb in his mouth. That photo was captioned 'Reading with my baby boy! #Books #Reading #Michael #Sleepy'.

It was very safe to say that most of her account was dedicated to Michael. She even followed all those parenting accounts that gave advice, life hacks and other things along those lines. (Y/n) was convinced Facebook took over Emma's life, and often heard about new parenting things she learned from there. It was her new obsession, and who knows how long that will last.

But she was able to connect with her family and friends more, which (Y/n) was happy about, since getting the account made her happier than before now that she was able to keep in touch with everyone. Her parents and (Y/n)'s parents were Emma's biggest fans on Facebook, since they got to see all the pictures of their grandson. It seemed like Emma's Facebook account made everyone happier in these weird times.

(Hi besties this is my new favorite one I've ever written. Emma is definitely a Facebook mom and nothing will change my mind.)
