Reunited

I was waiting by the baggage claim at the London airport waiting for my girlfriend Emma to get here. She had been off filming a new movie for the majority of the year and she was coming back to London today for a few months before the premieres.

I waited by where she was supposed to pick up her bags, eagerly looking in the crowd to see if it was her. I had been waiting for about 20 minutes when I saw her coming by. I ran over, and she met me halfway before we both tackled each other into a hug.

We both fell to the floor, not caring if anyone saw us or took pictures because we were both happy to be back in each other's arms after being separated for so long. We picked ourselves off the floor before instantly connecting in another hug. We both squeezed the life out of each other before we pulled away and connected our lips together in a deep kiss. I moved my hands around her waist, and she placed hers on the back of my neck.

We stayed in this position, our lips moving against each other's before pulling back for air. When we pulled back, I cupped her cheeks with my hand before connecting our lips once again. She placed her hands on mine and kissed back. Once we pulled away again we shared a laugh and another hug, I connected our hands and we walked to get her bags.

"I'm so glad I'm back. I missed you so, so much." She said as we got her bags. "I'm happy you're back. I don't know how much longer I could've gone without you." I said as we walked out of the airport. "Thanks for coming to pick me up though, that was nice of you." She said to me. "Well, it was really just an excuse to see you faster than waiting around at home but you're welcome." I said as I put her bags in the back of the car. We left the airport, excited to be back with each other after so long apart.
