With the whole pandemic going on, Emma became a lot safer, not only for herself, but for her fiancé (Y/n) as well. (Y/n) had very bad asthma, and if he were to get the virus he would have a higher chance of being seriously sick and having to be hospitalized. That's why (Y/n) and Emma were taking the lockdown very seriously.

She was currently in an interview online, while (Y/n) was in their bedroom letting her do her thing in peace. "So Emma, with the pandemic going on, how are you and (Y/n) doing? Are you two keeping yourselves entertained or anything?" the interviewer questioned.

"Yes we are actually. I've gotten many books to read, and I got a few for (Y/n) too, but I don't think he's read them. He's mostly been watching Netflix and playing video games, I really regret buying him an Xbox for Christmas, but it's too late now." Emma explained to the interviewer, as they nodded.

"So you two are keeping yourselves safe and staying home?" The interviewer pressed, as Emma nodded. "Yep, we are staying home, and I only go out for the essentials. Even then, I don't go too far, I order everything online and I just have to go to the lobby and pick it up. (Y/n) stays here, since he's very vulnerable to the virus, and if he were to get it there's a higher chance of him needing more serious medical care, so I don't take any chances." Emma told them, as they smiled.

"You are definitely being an amazing fiancé. It seems like you two are enjoying the quarantine I take it?" The interviewer asked, Emma thinking before answering. "Kind of? I like being inside and having a lot of free time to read books and cuddle up with (Y/n), but I also miss being able to go outside to the park or go for a walk when I wanted to. It's definitely very different now than before. It feels nice to kind of have a break, but it just wasn't what I expected if that makes sense?" Emma answered, as the interviewer responded.

"I totally get it, I never thought I would be hosting an interview from my living room, but here we are. It's very different for sure." Emma laughed, and so did the interviewer. "Of course. It's a change for sure, but I'm very thankful for the essential workers trying their hardest to keep everyone safe. One of my best friends is a medical official, and she's been at the hospitals all day trying to help her patients and it's apparently really stressful, so they deserve a big thank you really." Emma explained, as the interviewer hummed in agreement.

"Definitely. We all owe a big thank you to our medical professionals." The interviewer said, so that when the interview comes out they would have been talking to the audience. "Yes and remember to stay home and wash your hands! Thank you for having me!" Emma waved goodbye, turning off her computer and walking into her and (Y/n)'s room.

When she walked in she saw him lying in bed, watching outer banks on the tv. She sat down on the bed and leaned into him as he wrapped his arms around her. Emma got her book out and listened to (Y/n)'s heartbeat as she read her book, soon falling asleep in his arms. (Y/n) bookmarked her page and put the book on her nightstand, and soon fell asleep with her, still holding Emma close to him. Maybe the lockdown wasn't so bad after all.
