Emma was sat in an interview on a late-night show, and (Y/n) was at home taking care of Michael for the night. "So, you and (Y/n) have a son correct?" the interviewer asked, Emma nodding her head. "Do you want to tell us a bit about him?" the interviewer asked again, hoping Emma would say yes.
"Sure. His full name is Michael (L/n), we just gave him (Y/n)'s last name instead of combining both my last name and his. He's one year old, he just had his first birthday a few weeks ago on November fourth. Michael has (Y/n)'s eyes and my hair, but he looks more like me except for the eyes. However, he is an exact copy of (Y/n). Of course he's a bit like me in some ways, but he's definitely more like (Y/n)." Emma explained, as the interviewer nodded.
"So what's it like? Two (Y/n)'s?" the interviewer wondered, as Emma started to think of an answer. "It's interesting. Michael is exactly like his father, but I would say I'm his favorite. He acts like his father, but seems to want to be around me more often if that makes sense? They do get along though; Michael loves his father. The two get up to all sorts of mischief if they're together, mostly led by (Y/n). Michael is pretty calm though, he's a quiet boy, he got that from me. Michael's like (Y/n), but there's some parts where he's more like me definitely." Emma explained, as the interviewer nodded along.
"So it seems like there's never a dull moment in your family?" the interviewer asked, Emma nodding her head in agreement. "Nope. The last time I did an interview I came home and found Michael's room all messy and destroyed because the two made a blanket fort. They did a good job though; it was a nice fort." Emma recalled, smiling at the thought. "Michael sounds like a great kid from what I've heard." The interviewer told her, Emma smiling at her.
"He really is. Michael's a wonderful boy. Both (Y/n) and I love him with all of our hearts. We try to keep his life more private though, since we both want him to have a somewhat normal life and not have to deal with being famous from a young age. Both (Y/n) and I were child stars, we both got famous when we were eleven and we don't want Michael to grow up like that and have paparazzi around him constantly or have people judge him without knowing him or compare him to us for his whole childhood, unless he wants to get into something like that or be famous. I'll support whatever he wants to do and love him unconditionally, but for now we both try to keep him out of the public eye." Emma explained, the interviewer listening to her every word.
"Michael definitely has two very great parents. He's very lucky to have you two." The interviewer told Emma, her smiling and nodding a yes to the interviewer. They continued to talk about different things, the interviewer not bringing Michael back up because of what Emma said about keeping him out of the public eye. Emma went home and called it one of her most successful interviews and when she saw Michael fast asleep, her heart swelled up with the unconditional love she felt for her son.
(November 4th is the prettiest birthday and it's not even mine. Try to change my mind.)
