Surprise

"Are you sure she's gonna like this?" I asked.

"Yes I'm sure! She's my roommate I know her." Emma's college roommate said to me. 

"Yeah well I'm her boyfriend I know her too. She doesn't like scares." I said in a hushed whisper in case she was coming. You see, the plan was to surprise Emma since we had been apart for most of the year. She was studying at Brown, while I was studying elsewhere. I even had her roommate help me with this surprise. 

"She will love this. Once she finds out it's you she'll go crazy. Now get in." her roommate said, pointing to the closet. It was narrow, but I could fit. I quickly squeezed in the closet and shut the door. Now all I had to do was wait. I would be jumping out of the closet once she walked by to scare her. It was going to be great, even if she hates being scared like that. 

After a few minutes, I heard the door open. I could hear Emma's muffled voice as she walked by. I quickly opened the closet and shouted "BOO!" as she walked by. 

"Oh my god!" she shouted as she jumped back in fright. 

"SURPISE!" I said as I hopped out of the closet.

"(Y/N)! I've missed you so much!" she said as I wrapped her in a hug. "When did you get here? Why are you here? Don't you have studying to do as well?" she said, as she started asking more questions. 

I covered her mouth with my hand to get her to stop. "I will answer all of your questions if you stop asking so many. First, I got here literally an hour ago. Second, I'm here cause I missed you and wanted to spend time with my lovely girlfriend. And third, I have spring break now, so I thought why not come pay Emma a visit?" I said, answering her questions as we were still wrapped in a hug. 

Emma's roommate had left the room, giving us time to ourselves. Emma wasted no time in connecting our lips in a passionate kiss, one I eagerly returned. We spent a few minutes like that before we pulled back for air, once we had gotten air, we connected our lips again. 

"Best surprise ever. I love you (Y/N)." she said once we pulled back again. 

"I Love you too Emma. Now why don't you show me around? Give me the grand tour of Brown University?"
