Emma rushed off of set for the day, ending her scenes early and rushing off to see her family. After a few missed calls from (Y/n) and a quick text explaining what had happened, Emma left as soon as she read them. She drove to the hospital as fast as she could without breaking the speed limit, and grabbed a visitors pass and made her way up to the room he was in.

When she arrived, she didn't even knock on the door, just rushed in. When she walked in she saw Michael on the bed watching TV and (Y/n) was sat on a chair next to the bed, texting someone on his phone. (Y/n) looked up to see Emma, glancing at the two. "Is he okay? I came straight here from the set once I got your text." Emma asked frantically, seeing her son lying on the hospital bed. "He's fine. Nothing too bad." (Y/n) told her. Michael looked away from the TV to see his mother standing by the door, and he waved at her. Emma waved back, trying to hide her worry for her son and smiled at him.

"What happened?" She questioned, going over to sit next to Michael. "We were at the park playing baseball, he tripped and fell and broke his arm. It was an accident; he didn't mean to fall. He's fine now, but he didn't even cry when it happened, just got up and kept going. For a six-year-old he has high pain tolerance. I mean his arm looked crooked, but he was completely fine, and it seemed like it didn't hurt him at all, except when someone touched it." (Y/n) explained, shrugging his shoulders.

"I got a green cast! Because I like green. And I got a lollipop. And a spiderman sticker too." Michael told his mother, showing her the forest green cast that covered his lower arm, up to his elbow and the sticker he had on his shirt. "The doctor said he'd be fine. You can talk to her if you want. She's coming back to check in on him soon." (Y/n) informed, as Emma nodded and wrapped her arms around Michael. He leaned into her, still focused on the TV.

A few minutes later, the doctor walked in with a clipboard. "Hello everyone! So, Michael's good to go. The pain meds will wear off in about thirty minutes, but from what (Y/n) said you have more at home if needed?" The doctor shared. Emma thought about it before nodding. "Yeah. I think we do. You gave him pain meds? (Y/n) you said he didn't even cry, why did he need those?" Emma asked, growing worried again. "It was just for when we put the cast on. We didn't want to hurt him when we touched it since it was a little sensitive for him and it seemed to hurt whenever I touched his arm. (Y/n) said it was fine, and Michael seems like he's all good to go. He doesn't seem too bothered. Michael is a very brave boy; he wasn't even scared to get the cast put on. Most children his age are." The doctor explained, everyone's eyes turning to the boy who was still watching the TV, transfixed on the cartoon. Emma smiled at the boy and kissed his cheek before returning her attention to the doctor.

"Michael, how are you feeling?" The doctor asked, Michael turning his attention to her. "Good. But no more baseball, that's what dad said. He said that mummy wouldn't want us to play baseball anymore." Michael shared, as the doctor laughed, and Emma nodded. "No more baseball for now." Emma reassured, pulling Michael in a bit closer to her and kissing his forehead, as (Y/n) nodded. "Mummy would kill me if I let you play baseball after this." (Y/n) shared, and Emma agreed.

She wouldn't hesitate to kill him if anything like this happened to Michael again. The three left the hospital, going back home after a crazy day. Emma hid all the baseball equipment from (Y/n) and Michael, preventing another accident from happening in the future.
