Hearts racing, palpitating with every move. Everyone was in chaos-- fear overcoming their bodies as if they had just seen the end of humanity.

Devote your heart!  Erwin's voice echoed in her head. Iris aimed her hips toward two buildings, firing the grapple hooks toward every stone wall. Within a few seconds, traces of gas released behind her as the wires retracted, pulling her forward and gaining momentum. She moved with speed, not too fast that she'll succumb to the force of gravity. Soon enough, her whole body was only a few inches off the ground, the iron wires still attached to two buildings. Iris pulled the trigger, pulling herself high up in the air.

She hovered above everyone else with ease. "EVERYBODY, RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!" Iris bellowed and everyone who was idiotically staring at their deaths did as she said. She set her eyes on a 5-meter titan, it shouldn't be a problem to kill it. However, as hundreds littered in all of Shiganshina, it was impossible to kill all of them.

She flew to the street with the highest count of civilians and killed every titan along the way. After each minute, more and more Garrison troops finally arrived, trembling with terror not knowing what they were doing. Iris had to be careful with her gas usage. One wrong move and it's over. But underestimate her and it'll lead to your demise, there's a reason why she was called Humanity's Greatest.

It's because she was an absolute beast.

Hair flowing elegantly in the air, Iris latched unto one titan and another. The unique move that she had developed over time had no chance against them. Iris was the type to use brute force, and with every momentum that she gains, the higher the chances of her winning. With every slice of a titan's nape, Iris bought everyone time to escape.

She swung her way toward a 10-meter titan and worked from the ground up, slicing the back of its foot and legs. When the titan fell to its knees, Iris then targeted its nape and moved onto the others. She didn't care if her efforts were futile. But her adrenaline exceeded more than anything. It was either kill or be killed.

"Shit!" she yelled when her blades suddenly broke. And as quick as she broke it, Iris was swift to use her extras, impressively switching with a sleight of hand.

One, two, three... numbers increased each time she set her eyes on these beasts. Once the coast was clear, Iris landed on top of one's house and scanned the area. She couldn't help but grit her teeth. It's like her efforts were wasted. The civilian casualties were still gradually rising despite her efforts. Screw this! I have to save mother and the kids!

Iris took one step and suddenly felt a large amount of pain in her leg. Her eyes rounded. How focused was she that she hadn't noticed her broken goddamn leg?! She winced in pain. The next thing she knew, she was covered with the blood of those she killed. Titan's blood slowly rolled down her face, it was a disgusting feeling.

         "Fuck!"

"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHERE'S THE DAMN SCOUTS?!" A garrison troop yelled from below. A few had already arrived with their anti-titan shells. Iris, however, had no time to chat. Despite the pain, she pushed herself to kill every titan that got in her way as she maneuvered toward their home. How many minutes has it been? Where were the kids? Knowing Eren, he'd probably run toward their home.

Shit!

Her mind was racing with questions and worries. Even though she didn't believe in an omnipotent being. Iris was practically praying for her family's safety. Good. One more turn and she could finally reach their home. With determination on her face, Iris glided through the air.
