"Iris, please take care of Eren. He can be much sometimes but he's the sweetest. Promise me you'll take care of my boy?" They smiled at each other and linked their smallest finger together.
Carla... I'm sorry.
Eren's hands shook as he tried to make sense of everything that has happened. A few minutes ago, he was just speaking with Mikasa and Armin about the outside world and now... they're on a boat after their freedom was just taken away from them. His eyes grew big upon recalling his mom, his big sister.
He felt like puking. When he saw his mom get eaten, it was devastating enough but why... Why did he have to watch his big sister die in front of him as well?!
None of it will ever be the same. He could never come back home again. He could never see his big sister smile again. If only! If only he wasn't such a brat. If only he told them he loved them! Eren gritted his teeth as tears welled in his eyes. In his heart was anger building up inside him. He swore to himself as he stared at the last remnants of his home... I'll kill them. Every last one of them.

"Scout the area! Do not engage unless necessary!" Erwin, Hanji and Levi's squad flew past the giant walls. They were risking their lives to save the person they cared about deeply. But as they looked over the district, their hopes were slowly diminishing. Even if they find Iris, how low is the chance that a titan hasn't eaten her? It felt too damn impossible-- like finding a needle in a haystack.
Not for Levi. He promised himself. He damn well vowed to protect the only person that gave him happiness in life. Even if he'd lose a leg, an arm, he wanted to save her!
He was fast, gliding around the district while purposely avoiding the titans. Think, think. Where could she be? Knowing her, she probably tried to save her family...
His eyes widened upon that realization. When Levi maneuvered around the area of her home, he couldn't see any traces of her. There were blood splots everywhere, causing his heart to sink. He gritted his teeth, angered at the world, angered at himself.
"LEVI!" He heard Hanji's distress call. When he turned to the left, Levi realized that he made a miscalculation. He used his 3DM gear to send himself high up in the air, lips parting at the sight of a badly injured Iris in the hands of Hanji and the rest. He landed on the roof and took slow steps toward them. No, no, no!
He couldn't believe it. There was blood everywhere. Her face was practically covered in it. She lied lifeless on the ground and it was enough to leave him broken. Hanji teared up as she hurriedly tried to find a pulse.
Everyone was basically watching in fear. Their dear friend... dead? No way. Iris doesn't give up! She can't be dead. She has yet to give them a lot of hugs. No, she can't be dead. A shocked gasp left Hanji's lips when she felt a pulse. "She-she's alive!"
Petra covered her mouth in relief and fell to her knees. Their commander, who had been staring blankly at what he thought was Iris's dead body, immediately snapped out of his blank state and ordered everyone to hurry and leave.
Erwin, being the tallest of them, did not hesitate to carry her in his arms. It was a dangerous task yet they had to make sure their Iris could get help immediately. While in mid-air, he looked at her face, his lips trembling upon seeing her in such a state.
