It All Started With Turtles (TMNT FANFIC)

Forgive and Forget

[Ashley's POV]
I sit in my room staring at the tv. I can't go back to my parents house because they said last time that I couldn't come back to stay. So now I just sit in my room and sleep and occasionally watch tv.

I haven't eaten today. In fact, I don't eat very often either. I haven't left my room today, and it's 7:00 pm. I've been like this for a week. I'm not acting like myself. I can't though when I know my ex-boyfriend is out there cheating on me.

I never want to speak to him again. Just then I hear a knock on my door. Crap. It must be Donnie.

[Donnie's POV]
I knock on Ashley's door. This is the second time I've done this this week. I just want to apologize. I feel so bad for her. I have no idea what it must feel like to be cheated on.

Well, technically I didn't cheat on her. April kissed me, and I couldn't stop it. Now I'm mad at April. My thing for her, is officially over.

Ashley doesn't answer my knock. So I knock again. No answer. "Please Ashley. I'm so sorry. I-I. I miss you. Please come out." I say.

"Leave me alone, Donnie." She says. Yes! That's the first time she's spoken all week! But what she said. "At least read this letter I wrote to you." I say. I slide a note under the crack of the door and walk away.

[Ashley's POV]
I don't know whether I should read the note or not. No. Yes. No. I don't know! I get up from my bed and pick it up. I unfold it. I read it in my head.

Dear Ashley,

I am so sorry for what I have done. I miss you and want you to talk to me. I know you probably hate my guts. But I still love you. Please for give me.

Wow. I don't know what's wrong with me but.... I kind of feel bad now. I have no idea what it feels like to be betrayed like that. Oh wait.

I'm still angry but I can't stay mad at him. I open my door to go get some food. I walk into the kitchen and see Mikey cooking dinner.

"ASHLEY! YOU'RE ALIVE!" He yells and wraps me in a hug. I push him away. "Yeah?" I say. "I THOUGHT YOU DIED! At least that's what Leo said anyway." He answers.

I look over to Leo and raise one eyebrow. "Hmm?" I say. "N-no. I said you died inside." I roll my eyes. Oh yeah, Leo. That makes it so much better.

"What ever. So what's for dinner?" I say, turning around to Mikey. "Worms and algae!" He says happily. Must be a turtle thing. I shutter. "Pizza it is." I say, grabbing my wallet and walking out of the lair.

"Don't worry Mikey. Humans don't like worms and algae. Luckily, I do!" Leo smiles.

~After Getting Pizza~

I take a slice of pizza and munch it down. I'm going to save this pizza for other nights when Mikey makes something disgusting. As I am about to walk back into my room with my pizza box, I get stopped by a three fingered hand.

"Ashley." He smiles. I roll my eyes. "What do you want?" I ask the turtle. It's Donnie. Ugh. He smiles. My eyes tear up. I wrap my arms around his neck. "I missed you so much." I cry.

He smiles and tears up too. "I love you." He whispers. "I love you too." I sniffle.
