(So D.C is #51 btw because there is no real state number for him anyway-)

"This will be exciting!! I can't wait to see how this plays out!! Right, David?" Katie asks a smile plaster on her face. That same smile never seems to leave. 'Sure, I guess this will be fun. Bring in #4, #28 (Texas), #31, and... Why not bring in #27 as well." The four States were shoved into the room with a much smaller man.

He just sat there looking at the floor. "Whose that?" Texas asks, pointing at this potential threat. California shrugs. Geo moved closer to the stranger slowly. "Hello?" D.C stared at Georgia. "Hi...?"

"Awwwwww~ he's cute can I keep him?!" Florida asks popping up behind him. D.C shrieked, and clung onto Georgia. "Florida honey you're scaring them."

"Oh! Sorry!!" Florida pats the small man's head. "Didn't mean to." Cali walked up to D.C and smiled. "FRIEND!!" He picked up D.C and squeezed him tightly. "C-can't b- breathe..." California dropped him. Thankfully he landed on his feet. "Sorry..." D.C was breathing heavily and he was uncomfortable and confused on why so many men were in his room. Texas glared at him, more of a 'who the fuck are you' glare if anything.

"What are you?" He asks standing quite protectively in front of his comrades. Or at least two of the three. Poor Cali. "D.C... And I request your names as well."

"I'm Georgia, this is Texas, over there with the thicker tail is Florida, and next to him is California," Texas growled at him. Meanwhile, Katie was recording as much as she could while David watched quietly. "#28 is a bit hostile and protective I see..." David mumbled. "Yeah, but it's kinda cute how he cares for his friends!" Katie replies with a grin.

"Pleasure to meet you all. Is this another test...?" Cali shrugged. "I'm just glad I made new friends!" Cali walked to Texas and gave him a big hug too. "I-I. Uhh, thanks...?* The Texan's face flushed.

" Awwwww~" Katie giggled. "Aren't they just the cutest things?!" David rolled his eyes. "Yeah, sure whatever."
Like he cared-

"California let go of me..." Cali shook his head no. The other state was really warm, and his room is always cold. For some reason. Texas sighed and simply patted the state on the back. He wouldn't admit to enjoying the hug... But he enjoyed the hug.

"Do you ever wonder what the outside is like?" D.C asks, starring at a blank wall. "Pardon me. But does anyone know what 'outside' means?" Florida asks. "I think he means if we left this lab," Geo replies. "Oh-"

"What he said! Don't you ever just wonder. Like... What does grass feel like?! I've heard the word by never really touched any." D.C started blabbering on and on about. what they could be missing.

"What do you expect us to do? We can't leave." Geo asks. "Well... I have a few things in mind-" Katie starts panicking. "OK TIME TO END IT!!" Some more men in hazmat suits enter the room. Dragging the four States out of the room. "WAIT NOO!!" D.C yells, attempting to run after them. "Back off 51." One snapped. Pulling on Cali's collar causing a small yelp in pain.

D.C couldn't do anything but watch as they dragged his new allies out of his room.

"DANG IT!! DANG IT!! DANG IT!!" D.C punched a wall out of rage. He doesn't want to be there anymore. He just wants to be free.

"51."

"What do you want..."

"I want you to calm down or I will make you calm down."

"You can't make someone calm down forcefully idiot. And I thought the walls here were smart."

"Fine. Have it your way. Goodnight 51."

"Wha-"

D.C's room filled with black gas. D.C started coughing up a storm. "YOU ASSHOLES WILL PAY!!" He yelled before finally laying limp on the floor. Thankfully he wasn't dead. Just out cold for a while.

"I don't like where all this is going, David. They're learning too much. Soon they might try revolting or something."Katie mumbles. David laughed at Katie's concerns. They had so much more than these freaks did so why worry. "Oh, silly Katie. Nothing bad is gonna happen. I promise!" David replies flashing her a rare and genuine smile.

"Ok, I believe you."

Well, promises aren't always kept. Are they?
