(I love the kids-)

Alaska was sitting alone in the corner of the room. He hated this place, so loud, bright, and just colorful. He just wanted to go home and rest. That and it was so freaking hot here. Everyone else was used to it, but... He couldn't stand the heat. Maybe he would have liked it better at this daycare if it wasn't constantly hot. Alaska took off his hat, something he never did. His long black hair falling onto his shoulders.

This sucked.

More than Texas.

And for Alaska...

That's saying something.

Alaska needed something, anything that could cool him off. He wasn't even wearing anything heavy, just a T-shirt and shorts. Again, something unheard of in his household. Alaska's house was always cold, and he always wore sweaters or hoodies. But Alaska can't take any more of this... Torture...

Alaska got up, grabbing his lucky hat, and quickly left his corner to find some sort of cold. The AC broke a while ago and that was his only way of keeping cool. They hadn't fixed it yet. Alaska thought for a moment. Maybe he could go in the mini-fridge?

Hawaii's Mini-fridge was filled with different sorts of snacks and drinks. But was big enough to fit a small Alaska. Alaska walked over to Hawaii's Mini-fridge and take all the food and shelves out. Surely she wouldn't mind. They are best friends. Alaska squished himself inside the fridge and closed the door. The cool air completely consuming him. It was calming, no noise, just cool air and a time to relax.

Alaska felt his eyelids grow heavy. A small nap wouldn't hurt? Alaska closed his eyes and let the dream world consume him.

+Time skip+

Alaska jolted awake. His fridge was shaking, and wouldn't stop. "HAHAHAHA!! HEY FRIDGE MAN WAKE UP!!" He knew that voice... "FLORIDA?! STOP!!" Alaska gripped the sides of the fridge. So much for peace... Louisiana opened the fridge. "HII!!"

"W-What...? Why?"

"New York wanted to see if you were doing ok. I mean you did lock yourself in here." Louisiana moved to the side reveling New York. The boy adjusted his glasses and slowly walked up to him. "Hey... uhhh... Are you ok? Why are you in Hawaii's fridge??" Alaska groaned a bit. Sure he liked New York but this whole thing just because he wanted to see him? Really? Then again it probably wasn't his fault. "I'm fine and it was really hot." New York sat in front of him. "Oh ok. Sorry about these two. I told them I was kinda worried and well..."

Huh.

Did someone pay some attention to him?

And they were concerned???

W-Well... Alaska felt his face heat up a bit. No way. New York didn't care. Now's not the time to be concerned about it anyway. New York stood up. God Alaska wished he hadn't. Not like he would say anything. "I'll leave you alone now. But here have something to do in there." New York handed him a small book. Smiling, New York closed the door before Alaska could thank him.

New York was nice. Sometimes... Alaska giggled a bit and hugged the book. Even if New York was faking his kindness, it's not like this bubbly feeling in his stomach is going away anytime soon. Plus small crushes don't need to go all that far. Nothing would happen between the two anyway.
