It had been a few weeks since the Steam Team was brought to Paradise Island. The work was starting to get to them a bit. "I never thought I would be exhausted from the jobs we do everyday," said James. "I know," said Edward, "I went down a hill today, I thought I'd shake to bits." "Well," said (Y/N), "You'll be glad to know I have found some new engines that have been saved. Some were as famous as you guys, and some were from your old railway." The engines were pleased. "Who are they?" asked Percy. "Well, there are a few steam engines and the rest are diesels." The engines frowned. "Diesels!?!?" exclaimed Gordon, "Disgraceful!" "Disgusting!" said James. "Despicable!" finished Henry. (Y/N) glared at the three big engine. "Now now you three," said (Y/N), "They have changed quite a bit. Now, show them respect." "But who are they?" asked Percy. "Well," said (Y/N), "I was hoping to keep them a surprise, but considering your reactions to the announcement, I feel I need to name a few. They are Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver, Toad, Diesel, Oltan Hall, Penny, Den, Dick, Edman, and Diesel 10." The engines were furious. "DIESEL 10!?!" cried Thomas. "HE CAUSES NOTHING BUT TROUBLE FOR US STEAMIES!!" said Edward. (Y/N) looked at the engines, and said, "I know he's been rude in the past, but he saw something that no one ever should: He saw an engine get scrapped." The engines rolled their eyes. "He helps tear them apart," said James. "No, he just helps pick the pieces up," said (Y/N), "He never actually saw the melting process. It shook him to the core." The engines were confused. "This is the story of why he was sold...."

1 week earlier....

Diesel 10 was heading back to the sheds, where Diesel, Arry, and Bert were waiting for him. "Welcome back Diesel 10," said Diesel, "Having fun melting down the steamies?" Diesel 10 backed down, and looked at his fellow diesels. He then said, "I actually saw what they did," he said nervously, "They... they just cut them open and melt alive. No mercy, no regret. I even saw a diesel in line." The other three were shocked! "B-BU-BUT, WE'RE MODERN REVOLU---" "OH PUT A SOCK IN IT!!" snapped Diesel 10, "We're not even Modern Engines anymore! Our classes were first manufactured 70-80 years ago! We aren't even up to date anymore!! Now, we're in the same spot the steamies are!!" Diesel, Arry and Bert looked down at the rail. "We have to be careful," said Diesel 10, "Or otherwise, we'll share the same fate as the steam engines."

Over the next few days, the diesels no longer teased the remaining steam engines that visit about scrap. Diesel 10 mostly, since he was the one who witnessed the scene. One day, he finished delivering a goods train, and saw a diesel teasing an engine beyond repair on a flatbed. Diesel 10 then rolled up to him, and bumped him hard. "SHUT UP!!" he said, "You don't know what it's like to be at the end of the line!!! Well let me tell you something: YOU are just as expendable as the steamies!!" He then rolled off, and heard something that stopped time: "Good riddance to steam." Diesel 10 looked over and saw a blue and yellow diesel with the numbers 199 on his cab sides, talking with a green diesel with D261 on his cab sides. "Come on," said D261, "They weren't that bad." "They spoiled our image," said 199, "they're where they belong now." Diesel 10 gritted his teeth. "I think they had it coming for a long time." He then shook with fury. "Especially that annoying Steam Team, just going to the mainland for their graves." Diesel 10 was now LIVID!! He raced up right next to 199, and he lifted his claw, and he smashed down on his roof. "YOU DON'T GET TO TALK LIKE THAT TO THEM!!!!" he yelled. D261 was a gasp, and people were screaming, as 199 yelled in pain. "THEY WERE REALLY USEFUL ENGINES!!! THEY DIDN'T DESERVE THE SCRAP HEAP!! IF ANYTHING, IT'S YOU THAT DESERVES IT!!!" Diesel 10 continued to rip the diesel apart, until the only thin left standing was his face, and back end. He then rolled off, grumbling to himself. That night, the new controller spoke severally to him. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?!" yelled the controller. "He was disrespecting the old steam engines of this railway!!" said Diesel 10. The controller was furious. "DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK OF THEM AGAIN!!!" Diesel then had enough, "You know what, F**K YOU YA B**TARD!!" The shed fell silent. "YOU, ARE NOTHING LIKE THE FAT CONTROLLER!! HE WAS TEN TIMES, IF NOT INFINITE TIMES, THE CONTROLLER YOU ARE!!! I AM GOING AWAY FROM THIS NOW RETCHED RAILWAY!!! THE STEAM ENGINES NEVER DISSEVERED SCRAP!!!!!" And he rattled away. Diesel 10 then followed. Arry and Bert were about to follow, but the controller said, "NO!! YOU TWO STAY WHERE YOU ARE!!" They stopped, and the other diesels rattled away.

The engines were amazed at what they heard. "Diesel 10, actually stood up for us?" asked Toby amazed. "Yes," said (Y/N), "I was amazed myself, but he told me it himself." The engines then felt bad for disowning Diesel 10. "Perhaps he has changed," said Percy, "We could always give him a chance." The other engines agreed. Gordon, Henry and James looked shamefully at their buffers. So, they went to sleep, and they thought about how they will react to the newly reformed Diesel and Diesel 10.
