The summer holidays had come, and the engines were getting worked off their wheels. Especially on the passenger runs. That night, (Y/N) came into the sheds, and she had an announcement. "There will be a temporary engine to help out on the railway until the summer holiday is over," she said, "His name is Reginald. I hope you all give him a nice welcome."

The next morning, Reginald came by boat, and he was a big city engine. The same engine that Gordon and Duck got into an argument about which station London is.

He eyed the dock suspiciously. "Hm," he said, "I was expecting the docks to be a bit, busier." Salty and Porter were quick to greet. "Ahoy there!" said Salty, "I'm Salty, and welcome to Paradise Island." "Thank you," said Reginald, "At least you have good manors." Reginald then puffed off to the station.

At the station, he saw many different engines. Lady puffed up with a local train, and said, "Hello, I'm Lady. You must be Reginald." "Indeed I am," said Reginald, "it is nice to meet you. I imagine you must be looking for a strong engine like me to look after you." ".........I have a boyfriend." "Oh..... sorry. Anyway, could you be a dear, and fetch my coaches for me please?" "I think Oliver should be coming with them soon." Lady's guard then blew his whistle, and Lady set off. "Goodbye Reginald, I hope you have a wonderful day." Reginald was impressed.

On the opposite platform, Reginald saw the Pullman Coaches being shunted by Phillip, the Diesel Box-cab. "Hello," said Reginald, "Where it that train going?" "It's going to the end of the line," said Phillip, "It's the non-stop express service." Reginald then got an idea, "Say, I just remembered, I'm taking that train today." "Oh, but what about Henry?" asked Phillip. "Oh, he's taking the local. Controller's orders." "Oh," said Phillip, "Well, just back down on them when you want to."

Reginald was soon coupled up to the train, and he was full of pride. The last door shut, the guard blew his whistle, and Reginald set off. "I haven't seen Pullman Coaches in years!" he thought to himself. He then left the station, when Henry pulled in. He waited for his coaches, but was surprised to find the local coupled up to him. "Phillip," said Henry, "Where are the Pullman Coaches?" "They've already been taken," said Phillip. Henry then thought, Spencer must have already taken them. But he was wrong.

Reginald pulled the train with pride. "Oh this is wonderful!" he said to himself. When he got to Beach View Station, he saw two familiar faces. "Oh, it's you two," he said. Gordon and Duck were not all that happy to see him again. "What are you doing here!?" asked Gordon. "I'm here to help with the passenger runs!" said Reginald. "So you're Reginald?" said Duck. "Yes I am. And I heard about your trip to London, off to St. Pancras." "WELL, IT WASN'T PROPER!! LONDON IS KING'S CROSS!!" "No, it's Huston." "It's Paddington!" The engines then argued for quite some time, until Spencer blew his whistle. "What is going on here!?!" he asked. Soon, the engine told Spencer what they thought. "Well, I can tell you this: the answer is King's Cross." Gordon smiled. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to do the return trip on the non-stop express service."

Spencer was off, and he headed all the way to Homestead. He saw Henry coming with a goods train. Henry was surprised. "Spencer!?" he said, "I thought you took the train up to Beach View already!" "No, that Reginald took it," said Spencer. Now, Henry was cross. He realized Reginald had tricked Phillip, and made him take the Local.

Reginald puffed into the sheds, and he saw all the international engines. "Hello there," he said, "I'm Reginald." "Nice to meet you," said Ashima. Reginald then told all the engines about the mainland, and what he thought London should be. "You know," said Frieda, "Huston does sound like a fair name for a station." "No, the real name should be King's Cross," said Etienne. "I think I like Paddington," said Vinnie. Soon, the engines argued until they went to sleep. That was until (Y/N) came into the sheds. "REGINALD!!" she cried, waking every engine up! "I am not pleased that you took advantage of my authority to get the express!!" Reginald looked shocked. "Engines who do that are not fit to work on my railway!! But, I have already made the deal with your controller, but I have no choice but to keep you until the end of summer. So, instead of passenger trains, you will be taking goods. They need help as well." "B-B-B-B-BUT MA'AM, I DON'T TAKE TRUCKS!!! I WAS BUILD FOR EXPRESS SERVICES!!!" "Engines on my railway will do the work they are told! And that is that!!! And I also heard about your argument, and I want to say, all the stations serve the same purpose: pick up and drop off passengers! King's Cross, Huston, and Paddington, are ALL London!"

Reginald was soon put to work on goods. Soon, Alfred came back, and he helped with both passenger and goods. He was glad to help out, and so were the other engines. He soon put Reginald in his place. For the rest of the summer, Alfred kept an eye on Reginald by double-heading every train he took. He then asked Henry to look after him when he was needed on the express. Reginald is now a wiser engine, (start video) and he now knows not to take advantage of the controller's authority.
