Henry is a big strong engine that lives on Paradise Island. He often pulls goods trains along the main line and the Non Stop Express over to Beach View Station, but his most favorite train is the Flying Kipper, a special train that runs during the night to deliver fish to the stations. He loves running though the night air.

One day, Percy was due for his overhaul. Now, there was no engine available for the Mail Train tonight. "Who's gonna take it tonight?" asked (Y/N). Henry then said, "Can I take it along with the Flying Kipper? They both stop all along the main line." (Y/N) thought for a minute, and said, "Alright Henry, just make sure to get the mail trucks before you head to the docks. They should be at the station platform here. Now get some rest. You'll be up all night since you're taking both."

Henry headed to the shed and slept right through the day. Soon, the engines started coming back to the sheds, and Henry headed to the station. He found the mail trucks waiting at the platform. He coupled up to them, and headed to the docks. Henry saw the train, and was shocked! There were many more vans than Henry thought there were!  "How am I going to take all of these wagons!?!" he asked. "We'll just have to try our best," said his driver.

Henry backed down on the train with the mail trucks, and was coupled up. The last door banged, the guard showed her green lamp, and the Mail and Flying Kipper were off! Henry then pulled with all he had, his wheels slipped for a bit, and slowly puffed out of the docks.

Henry puffed through the stations, and he was making good time. (Y/N) had called all the post men, and said that the mail would be delivered the same time the Flying Kipper was to arrive. Everyone looked at the strange train. No one had ever thought they would unload the mail and fish on a single train. Henry even saw Flying Scotsman taking the late night express.

The train was heavy, but Henry continued on. He puffed over bridges, through tunnels, and over hills. The trucks held him back a bit, but he managed. Soon, he reached Beach View station, five minutes early. He was very tired. "Well done Henry," said the station master, "You delivered all the mail and fish early." Henry smiled. He had no steam left to talk. "Well, I'll talk with (Y/N) in the morning, see if she'll let you have a day off to rest. You deserve it after the hard work you did tonight."

Henry backed down on the sheds at the harbor, and instantly fell asleep. The next morning, James was asked to take his goods trains, and Mallard took the Non-Stop Express for him. Henry slept through the whole day. The other engines thought he was being lazy, but after hearing what he did last night, they soon let him sleep.

Until Percy came back, the other big engines took turns taking both the Mail Train and the Flying Kipper in a single train. Gordon wasn't too keen on doing this, but he did it anyway. When Percy came back, he started with a mail run, and was happy to hear that Henry was able to make sure it was delivered on time in his absence.
