Chapter 42: The Movie Stars

Penny and Oltan Hall are two of the most famous engines in the world. Oltan Hall is mostly known for his part in a film series called "Harry Potter" as the Hogwarts Express. Penny is better known as the Polar Express, which was her movie title. The two loved their fame, but they sometimes wished for the days back before they were famous.

"It can be quite bothersome," said Oltan Hall. "Yes," said Penny, "the fans can get dangerously close to the rails at times just to get a picture." James rolled his eyes, "You two have it easy. You're celebrities." "James," said Scotsman, "It's true. People sometimes get too close to us engines at times and can get seriously hurt."

The next morning, Oltan Hall was taking a group of people to a big event where all eight Harry Potter films were being played. "I do sometimes miss the days when I was painted green, and wasn't quite as famous as I am now," he thought to himself. He soon reached the station, and someone wanted to get a better picture, but he fell off the platform and onto the tracks! Oltan Hall saw him fall, and quickly applied his brakes! His wheels squealed as he ground to a halt. He looked down at the enthusiast, and had some words for him, along with (Y/N).

Christmas soon came, and Penny was taking people around the island like she did in the movie. She soon saw some children building a snowman dangerously close to the tracks! She applied her brakes, and nearly crashed into the children and their snowman. "Be careful!" said Penny, "You shouldn't play near railroad tracks. It's very dangerous." "We're sorry," said the children. So Penny headed off to the next station, and let off passengers.

When spring came along, Thomas was puffing along his line, when he saw a large group of people with merchandise that was blue, and had his face on it! They even had railway series books! There was one fan who was crossing the tracks, and forgot to look, and Thomas braked down hard! The fan then fan off towards the station. Soon, he jumped clear, and Thomas stopped.

That night, the three engines told the others of what happened that year. (Y/N) then came in, and said, "It's okay everyone. I've talked with the fans, and I made sure that they would be more careful when they in the future." The engines sighed in relief. Soon, the trains ran to schedule, and there was a big announcement: a series of rail tours were coming to Paradise Island to help promote the island. The engines were nervous. When Alfred came, he was not the kindest engine at first, but he changed. They were worried, but also excited.
