After the death of Sir Charles T. Hat, some of his engines have managed to be saved and have been put on a secret railway that is completely hidden from the rest of the world, and has all the supplies it needs. (Y/N) is the controller of the railway...
It was a bright sunny day on Paradise Island. Mallard was feeling very excited. There was to be a new express service, and he was sure he was the one to pull it! But a signal man diverted Mallard into a sighting. "Oh bother!" he said, "I'm going to be late!" Just then, a blue streak went zooming past! "BUBBLING BOILERS! WHO WAS THAT!?!" He soon found out. It was a pair of diesel engines, and they were humming quietly in the sightings.

"WHO ARE YOU TWO!?!" asked Mallard. "They're Adam and Alex!" said Penny, "They're the fastest engines in the world!" Mallard just scoffed at them, but he was secretly impressed. Adam then said, "I'm surprised that there are still steam and old diesel engines on a public railway." The engines then frowned. "Exactly, you're controller should scrap you all, and get modern electric engines like us," said Alex. The engines were not too happy with this kind of tone.
Soon, Spencer was coupled up to his coaches, when he saw Adam and Alex on the platform. "It's our turn to take the non-stop express, permanently," said Adam. Spencer was furious. "We all take turns taking these trains!" Adam and Alex laughed, "No wonder this railway is so slow! Perhaps after our performance, (Y/N) will finally take you steam pots out of service!" They then headed off, very fast.
When they reached the end of the line, they were early. "Too easy," said Adam. The next morning, Henry was waiting for the Pullman coaches, when Adam and Alex were at the platform. "OUT OF MY WAY!" whistled Henry. "No until the non-stop express leaves!" said Alex. Henry was cross! "We all take turns on this railway! Your turn is after Mallard's!" Alex and Adam just laughed, and headed off.
Along the mainline, they didn't know the schedules that well, so they didn't know who to let go first, and who to wait for. Gordon often heads down with the express, but Adam and Alex took the right of way from him! Den then comes with a heavy goods train, but Adam and Alex just raced past him, almost crashing. Toby had a train of stone going across the lines, but Adam and Alex ignored the signals, and crashed right into the trucks! "KEEP OUT OF OUR WAY!!" said Adam. Toby just frowned.
Three weeks later, Mallard had the Pullman coaches, and made sure that he was up before Adam and Alex. When the diesels came, they saw Mallard blocking their way. "OUT OF OUR WAY!!" shouted Adam. "NO!" said Mallard, "We all take our turns on these trains, and you will have to wait for tomorrow for it!" Adam blew his horn angrily, but Mallard wouldn't budge. Soon, (Y/N) came out, and said, "STOP THAT RACKET!!" "Oh, ma'am," said Adam, "Thank goodness. Please get this hunk of scrap out of the way so we can take the non-stop express." (Y/N) crossed her arms, and said, "NO I will not!" Adam and Alex were shocked. "I've heard much about your shenanigans. On my railway, we take turns taking important trains, that way, everyone feels special!" "But we're more efficient!" said Adam. "And much faster!" said Alex. "And you both are not fit to work on my railway! I should have never have gotten you two! I'm lucky it was just a trial run! Now, you both will take the slow goods today, AND, I will be coming along to make sure you both don't cause any trouble!" Adam and Alex were a-gasp! (Y/N) then turned to Mallard, and said, "Mallard, you don't have to worry. I'll send them back to the mainland. So, we can still be the best railway there is!"
The slow goods that Adam and Alex took was to go to the mainland, and there, they stayed, never to return to Paradise Island. (Y/N) looked out from the platform, and she smiled. She had kept her promise to the Fat Controller, even though she was kidnapped a few times, she was still confident that she will keep the steam engines safe here. "(Y/N)!" cried Elizabeth, heading to her wife, "I got something! It's from the Hat family!" (Y/N) took the box, and opened it. Inside, was a black top hat.

(Y/N) then looked inside the hat, and saw a tag that said, "Property of Sir Bertram Topham Hat, the Fat Controller of Sodor." (Y/N) smiled, and she put the hat on. Thomas rolled in, and said, "You're hat looks like the Fat Controller's!" "It is the Fat Controller's Thomas," said (Y/N). She then went into her office, and she looked at a picture. It was her as a child, her grandfather Reverend Awdry, and the Fat Controller. (Y/N) smiled, and said, "Thank you Sir, thank you very much Sir Topham Hat. And thank you Thomas the Tank Engine."
