That's how you start a letter, right? It sounds too formal (like I'm writing to my demon of a mother). Fuck it. I'm starting again.

Hey, Y/n, thanks again for your help yesterday. I know you're rolling your eyes. Stop it. You know we all appreciate how much you help us when you do. I mean, how else would we be able to spread around the sweets so easily? Nobody suspects that you'd do anything.

Anyways, Remus told me to write you this thank you letter because he's doing something boring. I personally think it's bloody stupid and pointless as fuck, but he said it's "polite". Polite my arse, I could just thank you in person, wouldn't that be politer? Politer? Is that even a word? (I just asked Remus, he said it is actually a word, but not very common in comparison to blah blah blah. I didn't listen to the rest, I got distracted by a p̶e̶i̶c̶e̶  piece of fuzz on my shirt.) Right, yeah, this is pointless.

You should come over! We could have another sleepover! ONLY IF YOU BRING MORE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. DON'T BOTHER SHOWING UP IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY. Remember the last one we all had? I haven't seen James laugh that hard since Snivellous pissed himself when we stuck him to the wall that one time! WAIT! BRING FIREWHISKEY TOO!!! Oh, remember when we all got drunk in our dorm and Peter was confessing his love for that Hufflepuff girl, but gave his speech to you because he was wasted? I COULDN'T BREATHE! YOU LOOKED MORTIFIED! I mean, I would be too if I was in your position. Godric, I nearly pissed myself when he tried to grab your hand and kiss it and you nearly broke his fucking nose when you were p̶a̶n̶i̶c̶i̶n̶g̶  panicking!

I still can't believe Minnie hasn't caught us sneaking you up to our dorm yet. Maybe she has but just gave up. I mean, even our sleepovers are legendary! I still don't know how people found out about that game you taught us, I still hear some of the other guys talking about that one dare you gave Remus. You know the one. Yes, that one. (James is reading over my shoulder now and he said he wants you to bring Lily next time instead of Marleen. (Okay, not to not bring her (̶e̶v̶e̶n̶ t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ h̶e̶'s̶ k̶i̶n̶d̶ o̶f̶ s̶c̶a̶r̶e̶d̶ o̶f̶ h̶e̶r̶)̶ (HE JUST CROSSED IT OUT AND NOW HE'S YELLING AT ME), but to just bring Lily along if you can. Also, Frank asked if he could join in on the next one and if Alice would be there.) Are you okay with Frank coming next time? We think he's cool, but I don't know how you feel about him.

Okay, Remus is asking what's taking so long so I'm just going to end this now... Yeah. He'll probably bring this to you later. Or owl it. I don't fucking know. Either way, yeah... I'm shit at ending letters, so bye!

Hi, Y/n, it's Remus. Sirius won't stop talking about you now and it's getting pretty irritating. He really likes you, you know. As more than a friend. He'll never admit it to you sober, but he does.

He's really looking forward to you potentially coming over again and we all hope you can come. Next time, can you please not bring as much Firewhiskey? I think we all regret getting that drunk. Also, remind me not to play truth or dare with you again. I'm still mortified to walk in the direction of the astronomy tower in case someone remembers.

Yeah, I just wanted to let you know about Sirius just in case something happens. We all know about the rumours about him, but it's not true. He's only really liked you for about a year and a half now and hasn't been with 2/3 of those girls anyways. As I said, he likes you. A lot. He wouldn't do anything like that because he's been not so subtly trying to impress you.

I think you should give him a chance if you feel the same way, but that's just my opinion. Do what you want, I know he's too chicken to do anything if you don't feel the same way.

I also read what he wrote, he was furious about what Peter did, even though he knew he was drunk. I don't think he thought it was as funny as he claimed.

Anyways, he's starting to wonder what I'm writing now. I'll tell him I'm just adding my own thanks. Please don't tell him I told you this.
