Zulu's Pov

Turning to my side, I met Nemesis passed out which made me a little confused. The last thing I remembered was Hades taking Volkan to the volcano. A tear slipped out my eye but I wiped it away quickly, sitting up on the bed. My door opened and in came Artemis with Bethany right behind her.

"You have awoken, how do you feel?" She asked, moving aside as Bethany placed the tray of food at my side. "I thought you were with your family?" She bowed her head. "I heard what had happened with lord Volkan and it is very saddening. I came over as soon as I could."

A small smile graced my lips, taking her hand in mine, she stopped for second before looking up at me. "You didn't have to but thank you, I really appreciate it." Bethany smiled at me before leaving the room quietly.

"How are you feeling?" Artemis asked me, placing some food in my mouth but I didn't mind.

"I feel horrible but better than yesterday." The day I fainted, Zephyr brought me back to the castle. I cried for an entire day straight then my girls came to stay with me after that. They refused to leave my side unless it was to head to the temple.

She frowned but didn't speak after that. Nemesis woke up, smelling the food, putting some in her mouth. "This man has the best food." She moaned, stealing more until Artemis slapped her hand away. "This is for Zulu, if you want then get it yourself."

I smiled at the two of them, lucky to have them in my life. "Zulu looks quite fine with it."

A knock sounded once more. "Come in!" The door opened and Bethany entered with a letter in her hand. My heart twisted in pain remembering the last time I received a letter.

"A letter for lady Nemesis." She frowned, taking the letter from her. "Who is it from?" Bethany folded her lips in. "It is from lord Aries but he told me to say that it was from Zephyr." The look on Nemesis' face made me sad.

The silence stood in the room for a while until she spoke. "Thank you, I will see about it from here." She once more left the room as she sat back on the bed. "What does it say? Since when does he send you letters? I thought you guys weren't on speaking terms?" I asked.

"The day you fainted, he pulled me aside, he said he wants me back and wants to talk about things. He says he still love me but-" She sighed, passing her hand through her hair. "Every time I see him, I see the women that he was with." 

I held her hand with a small smile. "You still love him and you want him but for things to heal, you guys have to talk. You have to decide whether you are willing to let that go and start anew with him because going back with him and bringing up the woman he slept with is not going to help."

She looked at me. "You're right, I will go see him right away. Thank you, Zulu." She bid us goodbye, leaving the castle.

Third Person's Pov

Nemesis sat at the home she once shared with her husband. She can't remember the last time she's been in there. The servants bustled around the castle, tidying and cooking like they were preparing for something. "These are her favorite dishes, I have already sent one of the servants to get the wine from earth."

She inhaled softly as she listened to his rambling in the kitchen. "Yes, my lord." His heavy feet, stomped out the kitchen as she hid behind the wall. "W-How long have you been here?" She frowned thinking how dumb she looked hiding from the god of war.

"I received the letter that you sent." Aries frowned. "I sent that in the name of Zephyr, you were supposed to be here at eight tonight." She took in his appearance, he looked like he hasn't slept in days, his clothes were buttoned unevenly, his hair tossed all over and he looked more pale then usual.

"I figure that it was you and I did not want to waste time. I want to talk now." He gestured around him. "But I am preparing-" He looked at her face, realizing that she was not taking no for an answer. "Please head to the office."

They looked at each other, not speaking a word until Aries opened his mouth. "I know that there will be nothing to take back what I have done to you but I am willing to do anything. Just tell me what you want and I will do it."

Tears pooled in her eyes as she wiped them away. Aries brought her into his arms as she cried her eyes out in his chest. "Please forgive me, I am so sorry." She sniffed, looking up at the teary eyes man. "What are you apologizing for? You did nothing wrong."

"I pushed you away, I told you to find another woman to have your children with. I was the cause of all this-" He shook his head. "No, I was forcing you into something that you were not ready for, I chose to flirt and sleep with those women and be immature."

A sob escaped his mouth. "I have been hurting you all this time, all you have been doing is protecting yourself from the bullshit that I gave you for so long." He went down on his knees, kissing her feet. "I am not worthy of you but I do not want to let you go."

He buried his face into her stomach, tears soaking her clothing. "I love you, I love you." She wiped the tears falling down her face. "I want to start over, I want to be with you." He looked up at her, leaning into her small palms.

"I ruined the dinner." She chuckled as he kissed her palm once more. "How about I distract you until you forget you saw anything?" His hands snaked under her clothes, picking her up, she squealed loudly as he marched out the office and into their old room.
