"Sorry you did not have sex." Nemesis whispered to me, making Artemis laugh. "It is not that funny!" It was sad, actually. I was so close too. "There is always next time." She said getting on her stag and trotting off alongside Artemis.

"Are you ready, darling?" Volkan asked, fully dressed. "I am." He helped me on the stag before hopping on behind me. Since we were on short because of the incident, we decided to share this one.

"There it is." We stopped at the castle like home in front of us, water surrounding the home. It was beautiful actually. "What are we wait- oh." Three green and yellow creatures with teeth the size of a Aries' ego appeared in front of us. 

"Quod est opus tuum huc rem?" (What is your purpose here?) It spoke in a deep, gruff voice, stepping closer to us.

"Nos hic loqui to the Elder." (We are here to speak to the Elder.) Zephyr spoke boldly to the beast but he didn't budge.

"Nos autem non vis nocere volo adducere gubernaculis tractanda." (We do not wish to bring harm but want guidance.)

His eyes flashed white before moving out the way. "The Elder dedit vobis ut nobis transire liceat. Grata." (The Elder has given you permission to pass. Welcome.)

"Gratias tibi." (Thank you.)

As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a brown haired, brown eyes woman with dark skin and a big smile. "Well it took you long enough."

We all got off the stag, as she approached us. "I was expecting you, please follow me, you all will be taken care of and so will your creatures. I'm sure your journey was exhausting."

"We are her-"

"I know why you are here." All joy left her voice. "I do have some answers but not enough. Please, join me." She tapped the wall and a door appeared in front of us. "Zephyr, Volkan and Zulu-" She knows my name?

Why do I feel like I'm in trouble?

"Please enter and as for the rest of you- Altare pavit eos requievit die reliqua. Post autem placet talia agunt." (Altar, have them fed and rested for the rest of the day. They are guests please treat them as such.)

The creature made a gruff noise before taking them away.

"So, the war will happen, nothing will stop it." She was blunt. Zephyr tugged on his hair and I knew he was frustrated. He turned to Volkan who had his head down. "Now I can blame yo-"

"You will do no such thing, Zephyr." Gartha spoke strictly to him. "He did nothing."

"He started this war, if he hadn't killed all those innocent people, things would have been so peaceful."

Silence. 

"You are wrong, once again. The war was going to happen, whether or not Volkan killed. What kind of father are you?"

"He is not three years anymore. This is not a small mistak- what do you mean the war was bound to happen?" Gartha sighed looking directly at me. "It is happening because of her." All eyes were on me now making me feel so uncomfortable.

"Because of Zulu? She was not around when any of this happened. This makes absolutely no sense."

"Alina was not as innocent and honest as you thought she was." Gartha told him causing his mouth to turn into a sneer. "She is dead, Elder Gartha, can I please not hear her name so often?" He was pissed off now.

"Tell him now, Zulu."

Oh great, now she's putting me on the spot. "She wanted it to come from you so please." She gestured for me to talk. My eyes landed on Volkan who stared right back at me with vulnerability in his eyes. I should have told him earlier, I am such an idiot.

"The day that we were attacked and I had been injured- " He nods. "I had visited Alina, she told me- she told me how much she had loved you and she was set up. She did go into the the sanctum but she did not sneak in."

I glanced at Gartha who gestured me to continue. "She did try to beak the stone but someone told her to, she didn't know the true meaning -" Volkan growled at me softly, his fist clenched together. "Please get to the point, Zulu, I already know that."

My heart ached for him. Zephyr shifted to side, folding his arms looking right at me with a frown. 

"She- she wasn't faithful to you, Volkan."

He inhaled sharply, stepping away from me, it pained me when he did. "What did you say?"

"She has been having an affair with someone during the time you were together and they set her up to die because she chose you at the end." Zephyr's eyes softened when he looked at Volkan who was slowly breaking down.

"Sh-" He leaned on the wall, looking at his feet in shock. "I'm so sorry, Volkan, I didn't want to tell you bec-" His eyes were fully black when he looked up at me, I flinched away from his stare. "You loved her so much, I couldn't ruin your thoughts about her."

The tension in the air was so thick, you could suffocate. "I have been searching for the god but I sadly cannot. They are using dark magic to hide themselves but know this, keep your guard up no matter what." She sighs before continuing. 

"Whoever they are, they know that Volkan can die-"

Volkan's Pov

Pain. 

It roamed my entire body. Alina didn't love me, she was having an affair with someone all this time and came back to me like everything was alright. She used me. Everyone uses me!

"Whoever they are, they know that Volkan can die-"

"What? I cannot die-"

"Yes you can, I- Zeus saw something horrible happening in the future and demanded that I give you a weakness, something that would certainly stop you from causing havoc. 

So I decided that it would be love. The woman that you love with your everything will be the one to end you. That is why I was so against killing Alina but when I saw that she was dead and you weren't, I was relieved."

"I thought the day of killing all those people was the day that Zeus foresaw but it was not and they know of it."

My entire existence has been a lie.

"Why did you keep all this from me? Why tell me now? Are you afraid that I might die?"

"Yes, Volkan, I am very afraid." Zephyr was the real monster. "Am I suppose to believe that? Am I suppose to feel secured? You lied to me-" I looked at Zulu who had tears in her eyes. "You all did but that does not matter now."

"You are correct, Volkan, it does not matter at the moment because we have to find a way to keep Zulu safe. If they get to her then it will be over and done with."

She said scrolling through her books. It had dawned on me what she had said. I knew that I cared about her deeply but I couldn't bring myself to tell her that I loved her but I knew that I did.

"Are you saying-"

"She is the woman that you are deeply in love with. She is the woman that can kill you."
