Sam's POV

Sitting in front of me was my manager, lawyer. Once again we were going through the contract and making sure everything was in order. I signed the contract and was congratulated. Soon enough I got a schedule with the time I would meet with a vocalist coach. Good thing I had taken a few singing lessons.

"Okay, we're gonna start having you make appearances and get spotted out in the public with a few famous singers. We'll get you featured in artist songs. So your name gets out more. While we work on all that we need to choose the songs for your first album." My manager said.

"In the contract it says I can do both my original songs and songs given to me. For my first album I want to use my original songs. My wife's helped me write the songs." I said.

"Wow, these are pretty good. Has she ever been interested in writing songs and getting paid for them?" A songwriter said.

"We haven't talked about it. She just writes her poems and we fix them as songs." I said.

"Well she sounds like she's had a lot of experience writing songs. You keep these safe we don't want someone to steal your songs." The songwriter said. Maybe I'll get Missy as my songwriter and her name can be out there with mine. She's always loved to write. It's been a way for her to escape.

Missy's POV

Sam's been in the studio these three past days. I had finished making lunch when Sam walked in. He looked so happy and had a lot of energy. I gave me a kiss and I placed a plate in front of him. Mark was with his grandparents for the day.

"This is really good." Sam said, after finishing a bite of chicken alfredo.

"Right, It's my favorite dish to make." I said, as I took a bite of my food.

"So you know how I've been in the studio." Sam said.

"Yeah, how's it going?" I said.

"Well I got a job for you. That's if you want to take a part job in it." Sam said.

"What is it?" I said, as I felt some sort of curiosity.

"Will you be my songwriter?" Sam said. He has to be kidding me. I mean I know I've written songs for him and with him but me a songwriter.

"Yes, I got everything figured out and you know just a tad bit in putting music to your poems. I can hire a friend to help you out. He says he'll show you the ropes with the band." Sam said. I'm only good at writing the words not the music part. What if I mess up? There's so much that can change and happen.

"Just think about it this week. It'll be a great opportunity for you. You can leave your job and get paid better." Sam said. He's right my job doesn't give me much. Plus if we want a bigger family we're gonna need a lot of money.
