Chapter 27: Dressing room

Missy’s POV

Two months later, I still live in the same little house with Lia but ever since that morning Ricky thought I slept with Sam I tried my best not to have any contact with any of the guys except Connor or Jc. In this time I got a job at Awesomeness TV as an interviewer. I also dyed my hair an aqua blue.

  I knew this day would come and today was the day I interviewed O2L. Everything was set up and the boys one by one came into the room and sat on the couch. They didn’t know I was going to interview them until I turned around in my chair to face them. They all stared at me like if I was a ghost or something.

“Today I’ll be interviewing the O2L boys. So please send us your questions on twitter using the hashtag #MissyInterviewingO2L.” I started the interview and everything was going smoothly as any other interview until it came to the single or taken question.

“A fan wants to know whose single and whose not.” I said, looking at the guys one by one.

“Kian and I are taken.” Jc said.

“And of course Kian’s dating Andrea and Jc you’re dating Lia, correct?” I asked.

“Yes.” Kian said.

“Okay moving onto the next question.” I said.

“Before we move on to the next question, Ricky didn’t answer the question.” Kian said.

“Okay, uhm. Ricky, are you single or taken?” I said, as my hands began to sweat.

“Taken.” Ricky said, looking straight into my eyes.

“And, I heard the lucky girl is Shelby?” I said, as I blinked to keep the tears from slipping out.

“Yeah.” Ricky said. I motioned for the camera man to stop recording.

“Okay, we have a ten minute break.” I said, as I got up from my seat. I heard the boys calling after me as I entered my little dressing room. I went to the dresser and placed my hands on the dresser and I noticed tears were rolling down my cheeks already. I heard a knock at the door but ignored it.

Ricky’s POV

The interview with Missy was going perfectly fine until we got to the single and whose not single question. I’ve only been dating Shelby for a month now and we went public right away. Missy cut the recording and decided to have a ten minute break after I answered the question. I didn’t say anything until the boys started calling after her.

“We should go after her.” I said.

“And do what?” Jc said.

“I don’t know.” I said.

“I’ll go after her.” Sam said, as he followed her out. Through the entire interview so far. Sam's eyes wouldn't leave Missy.

Sam’s POV                                                            

I followed Missy to what looked to be her dressing room. Since on the outside of the door it had her name on it ‘Missy M.’ I knocked on the door and waited for her to open the door. When I decided she wasn’t going to open I walked in to find her sitting on the dresser looking at me.

“Oh, Sam.” Missy said, as she ran up to me and hugged me. I let her cry for a few minutes in my arms.

“Missy, Ricky tried his best to get you back. Every day he would ask about you and we felt sorry for him until one day he woke up and was in a great mood. Later that day we found out Shelby and him were dating. He was hurting for a long time and the only way he got his mind off of you was by dating Shelby. Connor and Jc were always like walking on broken glass around him. The guys and us wanted to hangout with you but we couldn’t since we understood you and we didn’t want Ricky to tag along.” I said.

“I know Sam and I’m thankful for you guys understanding me.” She said, walking to the mirror and fixing her makeup.

“You should try and get back out there.” I said.

“You’re right I won’t let it get to me again. Thanks Sam, come on we gotta get back to the interview.” Missy said, as we went out the hallway and back to the shooting room. She held my hand as she dragged me out the dressing room and back to the interview room.
