Missy’s POV

I still can’t believe exactly a week ago I graduated. It all seems so unreal. I’m sitting here wrapping all the photos I gathered from all over the house and I’m wrapping each one with newspaper and putting them into a box. Since I’m moving down to L.A. today I left the photos for last. Yesterday I had a yard sale finally got rid of most the clothes my mom wore and all the things that I didn’t think were necessary as well. I decided to keep most of my sister’s clothes since we were the same size. I kept the most valuable things.

Everything I thought I needed was all packed up and put into a U-haul truck that I was driving to L.A. since I bought a small house down in L.A. that was big enough for me and another person if I wanted to get a roommate.

An hour later or so I pulled up next to my 2012 silver Kia Sorento, which my cousin had drove from San Bernardino.

“When do you want to start unloading the truck?” I asked Hector, as I closed the U-haul truck.

“We can unload it later, let’s go inside Victor brought pizza.” Hector said. Victor’s my other cousin. We walked into the still empty house to find Victor with two boxes of pizza and sodas in the kitchen.

“Hey Missy, how was the drive?” Victor asked, as he handed me a plate with two slices of pizza.

We quickly dove into a conversation and after four slices of pizza, I was full and we were too lazy to do anything. After we felt like the pizza had digested enough we started to unload the truck.

Five hours later, it was ten at night and we had just finished unloading the truck. My cousins helped me set up my queen sized bed. All the boxes were scattered everywhere.

“Missy, we’re heading out early in the morning to San Bernardino to return the truck.” Hector said.

“Alright, well you two lazy butt’s can crash on the floor or on the couches. Whatever suits you guy’s. I’m going to sleep, good night.” I said, as I climbed into bed.

“Good night Missy.” Both my cousin’s said, as I watched them leave my room. I stared up towards the ceiling and soon drifted into a deep sleep.
