Jessie And Charlie, Double Proposal

The story will now commence:

After taking a deep breath Adam knocks on Jessie's door.

"Come in." She says almost immediately.

When he walks into the room he sees her and Charlie playing video games on the large TV by the far wall.

"Hey, ladies." Adam greets sitting down on the massive bed next to them.

"What's up. Your face tells me you're stressing to much." Charlie comments poking his cheek.

"I wanted to ask the two of you something." He starts.

He was hoping to talk to them separately.

"Have you finally come to ask for our hand in marriage?" Charlie asks bumping him.

"Yes, actually." He replies.

"Shite. I was hopin to look more presentable when that day came." Jessie says dropping her controller and straightening her hair.

"You look fine Jessie." Adam says with a chuckle.

"So what made you decide that now of all times?Didn't humans usually wait a year or two before they proposed?" Charlie asks.

To answer her question he explains Sakura's position and how he doesn't want someone else to marry her.

"I didn't peg ya for the jealous type." Jessie comments looking surprised.

"Neither did I." Adam says looking down at his hands. Was he doing the right thing. Or was he just being possessive.

"To be fair it is a good plan. If you take us the that would prevent us from being forced into an arranged marriage." Charlie comments. She sounds as if she in thought.

"And you said that night that you would like to marry us." She adds referring to the night he turned seventeen.

"It a yes from me." Charlie finally gives him an answer, as she wraps herself around him.

"Ya sure know how to charm yer way into a girl's pants don'tcha? How can I not say yes." Jessie says before planting a kiss on his cheek.

"There are probably other girls you still need to ask." Charlie says as if she knew he hadn't gone to the others yet.

"In that case ya better go and ask em." Jessie orders as she pushes him towards the door.

As he's about to leave Charlie calls his name.

"Come back here tonight." She says winking at him.

With a blood red face he leaves the room and goes in the direction of Cora's office. If he's lucky both she and Irina will be there. This was usually the time of day when they would discuss what to have for dinner.

But today he would have them discuss the future and if they really wanted one with him.
