"Daddy? What's going on?" The little wolf girl asks her father as the sounds of explosions and screams fill the air. The stench of rotting flesh fills her nostrils, increasing her fear.

"It's going to be okay sweetie. Just hold onto your brother." Her father says.

The girl does as her father says.

Suddenly the front of their house explodes as if in fiery wrath.

Then half a dozen humans pour in through the open wall. They spot the little girl and her family. These humans then proceed to walk towards them with insane smiles etched onto their faces.

"We'll kill all of them." One of the humans says with maniacal laughter.

Suddenly her father jumps forward with a double barrel shotgun and pulls both triggers at once.

At the range they are standing, the humans get torn in half. The girl notices how they have bewildered expressions on their faces as they fall. It's almost as if they're surprised that they were killed.

"Come on." Her father says taking her hand.

"We need to get behind the frontline. It's the only way." He says, pulling his children along.

"Daddy I'm scared!" The little girl whimpers, pulling on her father's sleeve.

"Hey, kiddo. It'll be fine." Her father reassures her with his warm smile.

Then, she hears a cracking sound as her father's head disappears in a cloud of blood and brain matter.

"Daddy?" She asks, looking at the twitching corpse of the man she had practically worshipped. And like a devout believer seeing the death of their god, something inside her breaks.

"Come on Lillie." Her brother says, picking her up and running with her.

While they run she stares at the scene around her.

Man killing Anima. Anima killing man. The two sides destroying each other in a gruesome fight for dominance. And through it all she finds a question. A question that grows in her heart and eventually screams itself at her.

Is this what it means to be alive? Animals don't fight wars. They kill for food, but man and Anima kill for sport. Animal don't destroy the world. But all that intelligent life ever does is destroy.

She was twelve when the war started. Her brother was twenty. Her father was in his late thirties and her mother had died giving birth to her.

Three years later, her brother would adopt a human child. She would often fight with her brother about it as she had not yet forgiven the human race. But, she would ultimately lose every argument.

A year later she moved out. It was also then that a strange old man would approach her and ask if she had access to her father's research.

She was honest and told him that she had taken up her father's work. The old man was pleased. Thus she would be recruited into Eden.

Her father had been working on tech that could wipe out specific life forms. He had been building it alongside humans and as such implemented a safe guard into it. The safeguard was that it required both human and anima DNA to activate.

But the old man who led Eden only wanted to use it as a bargaining chip against world leaders.

By the time she was eighteen, Lilith realised that so long as there was intelligent life on Earth, wars would never end. There will always be pain and suffering.

She then proceeded to usurp the leadership position of Eden and would henceforth lead them towards total annihilation of all intelligent life on Earth.

It was around this time that she found a little boy. A Labrador scrounging around in the trash, hoping for a scrap to eat. She felt sorry for this pitiful creature and took it as her own. She named it Michael.

But now, it turned against her.

"Lilith! Our forces are suffering heavy casualties. I'm heading towards the creation labs." Able shouts as he runs past her office.

With a stone cold expression she looks out of her windows at the pillars of smoke that fill the city.

Her forces were losing and she knew it.

"I guess it's almost time." She says, standing up out of her chair.

She then grabs a vile of blood that's laying on her desk and leaves the room.

Calmly she walks up the stairs to the roof of the skyscraper. She would've normally taken the elevator, but today she felt like walking.

Once she makes it to the roof she stops and looks out over the chaos.

This had been a fast growing city before she and her forces arrived and slaughtered every soul in it. The corpses were disposed of by method of fire.

She didn't care about the morale of her troops anymore. She didn't care about them at all anymore.

Even her nephew Able, who was a very skilled soldier was just a pawn to her. His only other use was being a toy that could satisfy her sexual urges. She didn't give a damn that it was incest. He was attractive and young. So she used him as a fuck toy.

But now, all the urges in the world would soon end.

All she needed to do now was wait for the weapon to charge. Then she would pull the trigger and commit global genocide.

Mass extinction.

Then an off thought crossed her mind.

Was she excited?
