Three months later. We find ourselves in the home of Lady Amaterasu.

She is busy pacing back and forth in her living room with both Sakura and Ichika tied up on the couch across from her.

"You're not going to find him." Sakura says while glaring at her grandmother.

"No creature can hide from my eyes." The older Kitsune retorts.

"You make the mistake of assuming he's hiding." Ichika comments.

Lady Amaterasu is about to say something when the farthest wall disappears in an explosion of smoke and rubble.

From the dust emerge three figures, two of whom are wearing gas masks and tactical gear. The third figure is a male Kitsune who appears to be in his late thirties.

"Figures it would be my youngest son who would betray me. You've always been an ungrateful child." The woman says to the male Kitsune.

"I do what is best for my daughter. And you mother, are not one of those things." He responds.

"Now mother, I have an ultimatum for you. You will either sign all your company shares over to me or my friend here will be forced to persuade you." He says while pulling out a handful of documents.

As he does this one of the masked men points his shotgun at her left knee.

From her expression it is obvious that she wants to fight back but, as all cowards, she does as she's told. She takes the papers and signs them.

"Thank you mother." He says, taking back the papers.

"As for our deal, you will have your five hundred soldiers." The man says, turning to the shotgun wielding man.

"I appreciate that." The stranger says.

Then, turning towards Sakura and Ichika, he takes off his mask revealing the face of a human. The human named Adam to be specific.

"You two miss me?" He asks the two girls.

Without saying anything, they throw of their bonds as if they'd never been tied and rush at him.

Adam almost loses his balance as the two of them embrace him.

"I missed you two so much." He says, hugging them both tightly.

"You know, when you said you wanted us to keep an eye on our grandmother I didn't think you meant getting ourselves captured." Sakura scolds him.

"Indeed. She was planning on killing you and selling us. It is a good thing you decided to move now." Ichika adds.

"I apologize for putting you in that kind of danger. Had I known I'd have gotten someone else to do it." Adam apologizes.

"No one else would've been able to since she basically kept us in the same area as her the entire time." Sakura explains.

"In any case, that's one objective down." The second masked man says as he pulls off his own mask.

"Michael?" Sakura asks, obviously shocked.

"It's Ben again actually. I kind of had this arc where I renounced the name my mother gave me. But you didn't see it because, you know never mind." Michael/ Ben explains.

"What's next?" Sakura asks, turning her attention back to Adam.

"Well, tomorrow we leave for home. Once we get back Cora will brief us on the situation. Then we get everyone else." Adam replies.

"So tell me beloved, which of your fiancees have you gotten back?" Sakura asks in a seductive whisper.

"I got Cora, Irina and you two. But not because of favouritism. I simply need your family's influence. If I could I'd get you all back at once." Adam responds.

"You break my heart. Oh well, at least we have you to ourselves for tonight." Sakura comments.

"Ugh, gross." Ben says, disgusted.

"I see you are still a jealous puppy." Ichika says, almost laughing.

"I will have someone drive you to the hotel." Sakura's father says.

"Thank you father." Sakura thanks him. Adam can't help but notice that she's a little embarrassed.

"One more thing Adam. Now you have to hold up your end of the bargain." Her father tells Adam causing his face to turn blood red.

"Uhm, Adam. What is my father talking about?" Sakura asks, confused.

"He has to work hard at providing us with grandchildren." A second male Kitsune says from the broken wall.

"Father?" Ichika asks, shocked.

"Hello cupcake. It's good to see you again." The man replies.

"Please don't embarrass me in front of my fiance father." Ichika says. She doesn't even meet her father's gaze.

"Come on. I need some sleep." Adam says with both Sakura and Ichika by his side.

"You are not getting any sleep tonight." Sakura comments with a mischievous giggle.

"I just needed an excuse to leave. I wasn't actually planning on getting any sleep." Adam explains.

It's clear to everyone that he has resigned himself to his fate.
