Standing outside in the night
All alone staring at the moonlight
Wish you were here with me tonight
The moon full and bright
Tossing its pale light
Soothing a comforting sight
Looming a white spotlight
The bright moon lights the dark night
Writing this poem at midnight
Hoping to see you again and reunite
