They say you can't cry
Because you are a man
They say you should be strong in people's eyes
Because you are a man
They say you should bottle up all the feelings inside
Because you are a man
They say don't take care of your skin, hair, and body
Because you are a man
They say you should never be sorry
Because you are a man
They say you should never be weak
Because you are a man
They say you should never be depressed
Because you are a man
All these beliefs that me oppressed
Trying to express what's inside but who really cares?
They call you dramatic
Yet they are the toxic
With their biased logic
I'm a human with feelings
I have bruises that are healing
But people around me make it worse
I don't want to be the man that society created
I can cry like the rest
I can express what's inside my chest
Because I'm a human in the end
