The Tale of Kyo Uchiha

chapter 49- the oath of pain

They stand there with kunais pointed at zabuza's throat and face waiting for the next move.

"Youre finished" said kakashi.

Kyo said nothing and kept her eyes on zabuza. She knows better than to think this is even close to being finished. Naruto and sakura make sounds of relief and start to visibly relax. That is, before zabuza starts to ominously chuckle.

"You really dont get it do you? Your technique is nothing but a cheap imitation. Ill never be defeated by a copy cat like you or some uchiha princess like you" zabuza says. The last part being directed at kyo.

Kyo presses her kunai closer to him. "I'm no princess." she says in a dangerous tone.

Zabuza smirks.

"Nice try."

Then he appears behind kakashi.

"But i'm not that easy to fool"

The clone that kyo and kakashi had their kunais against then dissipates into water revealing the actual zabuza to be behind kakashi.

He swings his sword causing both kyo and kakashi to duck before he implants it in the ground. Once he does that he shifts his weight so that he could throw a kick at kakashi and kyo.

Kyo being smaller and a bit quicker than kakashi, was able to dodge zabuza's kick. Kakashi however was not. He grunted as he was kicked into the water nearby.

The rest of team 7 looked shocked as they watched their sensei fly into the water.

Kakashi then comes up to the surface and Kyo looked at the water with her sharingan then widened her eyes.

"Kakashi get out of the water!!" she called out to him.

Zabuza then flashed behind him and before kakashi had the chance to escape, he was caught in the water prison jutsu.

He laughs. "So much for the great kakashi, at least the princess was able to evade my attack."

Kyo rolls her eyes "I told you im not a princess." she says angry.

Zabuza then smirks and creates two more water clones.

"One for the brats and old man, and another for the princess." he says snarky.

Kyo clenched her fists angry. Now she was gonna have to destroy two clones while protecting her team and tazuna while trying to figure out how to save kakashi.

"This just got really annoying" she says to herself. Before she had a chance to think, one of the clones started to attack kyo swinging its sword all over the place. She jumped back and evaded his attacks easily while she thought of a plan.

"Kyo!" yelled sakura. Sasuke and naruto turned their attention to kyo and looked worried but also ready to help her if she needed it.

"Dont worry about me. Eyes forward focus on the task at hand. Protect tazuna. I'll be right back." said kyo

She pulled out her kunai and surrounded it with her chakra like asuma had taught her. This was so the executioners blade wouldn't break her kunai when they clashed.

They went back and forth for a while swinging their weapons at one another before kyo had come up with a plan. She quickly jumped back and created a wood clone and switched places with it. The wood clone then continued to fight the water clone while the real kyo was building some chakra.

"Not another cheap trick, I expected better than this princess." said zabuza.

She really hated when people called her that. It brought up some painful memories or a certain someone who used to call her that as well.
