"Sasuke. I'm at point B"
"Sakura. I'm at point C"
"Naruto. I'm at point A. believe it!"
"Kyo. I'm at point D"
"Target has moved follow it!" said kakashi.
The 4 of us leap into action and follow our target.
"How close are you?"
"5 meters. Give the signal we're ready" said kyo.
Kakashi gives the signal and the 4 of us jump up and try to catch our target.
Naruto grabs hold of the cat. "I got him. I got him."
Kyo looks down at the cat and smiles.
"Torah, now where have I heard that name before."
She reaches out to pet the cat and it lets her. Kyo thinks back on her own first mission which was eerily similar to this one. She smiles as she connects the dots and realized the cat she had rescued was torah's mother.
The cat starts thrashing around in naruto's arms and scratching him up while sasuke confirms his ID with kakashi through the ear piece. Kyo laughs softly at the cat being mean to naruto.
Naruto then yells really loud into his earpiece about wanting a better mission.
"CANT WE GET A BETTER MISSION THAN THIS I HATE CATS"
We all grip our ears and sakura smacks naruto on the head.
"Naruto the ear piece!" Kyo whined.
Naruto blushes and rubs his head.
"Haha sorry."
The 4 of them gather up with kakashi and take torah back to their owner who recognizes kyo.
"Why hello again little miss. I see you finally got yourself a team. Thank you for your help once again."
Kyo smiles with a light blush and says "It was nothing. Happy to help."
The owner pats kyo's head softly before hugging torah a bit too tight.
"Poor cat. Just like its mother."
The 3rd Hokage then starts to talk about the next mission he has for them.
Kyo sits there and listens to the missions he says and deadpans. She was bored and she knew the others were bored too except for maybe sakura. She looked over at kakashi who was listening to the hokage with no expression, which didn't surprise her. Sasuke and naruto however, looked like they were itching to do something more.
All of a sudden naruto starts complaining "No! I wanna go on a real mission! Not this little kid stuff!"
kyo sighs "3,2,1"
Right on cue iruka sensei starts yelling at naruto about how he's got no experience and how he has to start from the bottom. Naruto yells back about how its not a real mission until kakashi bonks him on the head.
The third then starts to lecture naruto on how the shinobi system works but nobody was really listening. Kyo didn't even think the 3rd was listening to himself. Instead team 7's focus was on naruto talking about what ramen he was into lately.
"So I had tonkatsu ramen yesterday and i'm thinking miso ramen today." said naruto.
"Miso is better than tonkatsu." kyo says.
Naruto nods in agreement before the 3rd snaps at them.
Kyo nervously rubs the back of her head and says "oops sorry gramps".
