43: What U Do?

Note: Sorry I haven't posted any chapters today! I had a double shift today, but we finally get to see Izumi and Shoto's date! Enjoy!

"Did you have any plans for what we were going to do today?" Izumi asked. 

"I was actually wanting to know what you would like to do." Shoto said, casually. 

'He wants to know what I like?' Izumi thought. 

"Well... there is this one place that I've always wanted to go to." 

"Then show the way." Shoto said. 

'Though it might not be something he would be interested in, I haven't gone there in a long time. I think the last time I went was after my accident... but he did say he wanted to know where I wanted to go.' Izumi thought. 

"Follow me."

"So this is the place?" 

"Uh huh! Welcome to Shiro Robotics! This is another facility that designs some of the best hero items! They rarely are asked to design hero suits, but the items they make are always amazing. C'mon, let's go inside!" Izumi said, grabbing his hand and leading the way. 

Shoto was a bit shocked to realize she was holding his hand, and she seemed excited about this. 

"This doesn't look like a place that citizens are allowed to visit though." 

"That's right, but because I'm close to some of the scientists here, I have access inside!" Izumi said.

They entered the large building and Izumi's eye lit up with joy when she saw all the new items that scientists were walking around with. Just as they were standing there looking around, a woman with bright red hair noticed them. 

"Izumi?"

Izumi looked at where the voice was coming from and a smile spread across her face. 

"It is you, it's been a while, Izumi!" the girl said. 

"Kendra!" Izumi literally ran straight towards the woman and they both embraced into a hug. 

"It's been so long since the last time I saw you, Izumi! How are you?" 

"I'm doing great! And I'm so happy you still work here." Izumi said. 

"Eh- who's your friend?" Kendra asked, pointing at Shoto.

"Ah- sorry. Kendra, this is my friend Shoto Todoroki. Shoto, this is a very good friend of mine, Kendra Feather." Izumi said. Kendra looked at the boy's hair and recognized who this man was and her eyes went wide. 

"Y-You're Shoto, the Number 2 hero, aren't you?!?!?" Kendra yelled. 

All the scientists heard her and realized who she was talking to, and they all swarmed around the three of them. 

'Oh no, not again!' Izumi thought.

After the nightmare of scientists finished meeting Shoto, it calmed down and Izumi could tell how tired Shoto was. 

'I'm sure Kacchan felt tired from yesterday too.' Izumi thought. 

"Sorry about that, I can overreact a bit when I see famous heroes." Kendra said, handing them both a water bottle. 

"It's fine, it happens more often than you think." Shoto said calmly.
