157: Diamond

( Very Big Time skip, sorry! )

After going through a week of work, Izumi had gotten a call from Cole. 

"H-Hello?" 

"Miss Midoriya, this is Cole, Sophie's brother." 

"Y-Yes! Is there something you need, sir?" Izumi asked nervously. 

"I'm not sure if my sister has been in contact with you recently, but she's been busy ever since the court case and her divorce." Cole said. 

"I-It's alright, I haven't been too worried about it really." Izumi said. 

"Anyway, my sister is planning on coming back to Japan tomorrow and would like to do the interview with you this upcoming Monday." Cole said. 

"On Monday, huh? I'm fine with that!"

"Good, she was wondering if you were going to bring Dynamite with you?" Cole asked. 

"N-No, he's been busy recently and I don't want to bother him with that kind of stuff. He hates interviews anyway." Izumi said. 

"I see, then I will notify my sister right away." Cole said. 

"Thanks, it's been a big help meeting you and your sister, sir." Izumi said. 

"I'm just doing all I can. Ah- that reminds me, I know this might sound strange and I'm sure you wouldn't want to, but Rin asked if he could talk to you, in person." Cole said, Izumi froze. 

"H-He wants to talk to me?" Izumi asked carefully. 

"Yes, of course you don't have to if you don't want to. I know it was already uncomfortable for you to be in the courtroom with him that day." Cole said.

As much as Izumi didn't want to, she had to know what exactly this deranged man was going to say to her. 

"I'll come."

 There was silence on the other line. 

"Are you sure, Miss Midoriya, he's caused a lot of problems to you, and I certainly don't want you to be traumatized by this." 

"It's alright, sir. I won't go alone." Izumi said. 

"You won't go alone?" 

"That's right, I'll bring Emra to come just in case."

"Why did you agree to his request to see you? This just sounds like a terrible idea, Izumi." Emra said. 

"I know, but if I said no, then he would constantly keep asking Cole why I don't want to. I don't want to worry your distant cousin, that's all." Izumi said. 

"Hah- why're you always thinking about others first, even when you don't know them?" Emra said. 

"I can't help it, it's just my natural hero instincts." Izumi said.

Izumi and Emra entered the gates of the prison and the vibe of death and gloom surrounded them.

'I don't think I've ever gone to a prison before, there's a lot of tension in here.' Izumi thought. 

"Hey Emra, have you been inside a prison before?" Izumi asked. 

"Yes, I've come here a couple times." Emra said. 

"Really, any reason why?" 

"To see if my father was here." Izumi froze. 

'That's strange, I could've sworn Melanie said that Emra's dad was in Tartarus, not a normal prison. Should I mention it to her?' Izumi thought.
