"Huh? Shinso... never came here?" Izumi asked.

"That's right, because Toga clearly shapeshifted into him, she had to have some way of getting his blood. She flew all the way to America just to do that, and there's been medical proof that Shinso was taken to the hospital as well. He lost a lot of blood and somehow became so anemic that he couldn't use his own quirk." Emra said.

"So then... Shinso never came here to see me..." Izumi said.

"It seems that way, which also means that he'd moved on. How did you two break up anyway?" Emra asked.

"He was getting transferred somewhere overseas for hero work, but he never told me when he was leaving or where he was going. Every time I tried to call or message him, he would never respond. It's unfortunate that it wasn't the real Shinso... because I did miss him a little bit." Izumi said.

"You 'did'?" Emra asked.

"I-I've moved on! There's nothing to worry about! I'm much happier with Kacchan now, he isn't the same person that I grew up with, but it's better. Better for me at least." Izumi said.

"I figured you would say as much." Emra said.

"So... how long do I have to wear this cast?" Izumi asked.

"From what Takashi told me, it'll take about 6 or 7 more weeks to completely heal." Emra said.

"6-6 or 7?!?! But why can't we just use a quirk that can heal my arm?"

"Because your body is no longer able to be healed by a quirk. After having three different doctors with healing quirks fix your body after your accident, it was evident that your body will just have to heal naturally." Emra said.

"Hmm... was Takashi one of them?"

"No, Takashi doesn't have a healing quirk." Emra said.

"Really? So what kind of quirk does Takashi have?"

Emra looked up at her.

"Aether." Izumi froze.

"Woah really?!?! I didn't know Takashi had such a powerful quirk!!! So then... Why did Takashi specifically retire from being a hero? I know he said it was because of his family, but is there anything else about it?" Izumi asked. Emra stopped eating and sat there and looked at the small greenette.

"Takashi accidentally used his quirk on a citizen and got them severely hurt." Izumi froze.

"The citizen was hit in the chest, and Takashi was trying to use his attack on the villain, but missed. It's a good thing that the citizen was quickly healed in the hospital, but if the blast of Aether got any closer to the citizen's heart, then Takashi would've been severely fined for killing an innocent person." Emra said.

"I-I didn't... know that." Izumi said.

"Because Takashi was scarred by the event, he refused to even lift a gun that held his quirk together for him. It was his family that convinced him to change careers, and instead of hurting anyone, he wanted to save them medically. And eventually that was when I met Takashi when he was helping me recover from my accident." Emra said.

"Wow, I didn't know Takashi had such a sad hero career. So then, why did he attack the villain like that anyway?" Izumi asked.

"Because the villain was holding Takashi's twin brother captive." Izumi froze.

"Takashi was so scared that he could've killed his twin, so he wanted to learn how to become a doctor just to save his brother." Emra said and looked at the two dogs lying in the living room.
