Because they were in front of their parents, Izumi ended up sitting next to Inko, and Katsuki ended up sitting next to Mitsuki and across from them.
'That was close, why did I say I would let Kacchan kiss me? I really have lost it, and we're dating!!!' Izumi yelled in her head.
"So Izumi, has work been any busier since the last time you talked about it?" Mitsuki asked.
"A little bit, I will be working on multiple projects these next few weeks. That and I still need to finish Katsuki's new suit." Izumi said.
"You're still working on his suit, you don't usually take this long to work on something, do you, Izuku?" Inko asked.
"N-No, I've been getting distracted by a few other things..." Izumi said.
"Have you been able to spend more time with my son, Izumi?" Mitsuki asked.
"Y-Yes, we actually just came back from visiting Awaji Island today." Izumi said.
"Awaji Island, I heard it's great to visit at this time of the year. I'm sure you two had a lot of fun, right?" Mitsuki asked.
"Yes, Mrs. Bakugo, I'd always wanted to go and Katsuki was more than happy to come with me." Izumi said.
'That's a fucking lie, but I can't say I hated going...' Katsuki thought.
Throughout the entire dinner, they talked about other things, and through it all, Katsuki could not help but drink the most Sake. He was desperate at this point, and though his body would not take that much liquor, he didn't want to sit there in front of their parents and feel embarrassed about himself.
"Geez Katsuki, you need to handle your liquor more. Are you a heavy drinker, Izumi?" Mitsuki asked.
"N-Not really, I'm okay with a little bit of beer, but Sake makes me a little tipsy after one shot." Izumi said.
"Hmph, Katsuki must've gotten his light weight from his father. I can handle liquor pretty well." Mitsuki said.
"I remember you one time drank an entire bottle of red wine and got tipsy afterwards, Mitsuki." Inko said, and the three girls laughed. Katsuki on the other hand, rested his head onto the table, he was dizzy and certainly drunk.
"I think we should get going, it's pretty late and Katsuki lives pretty far from here." Izumi said.
"Oh, it's that late already? I didn't realize we talked that long. Will you be okay taking my son home, Izumi?" Mitsuki asked.
"It's fine, I've carried him when he was drunk before, so there's nothing to worry about." Izumi said.
"You should at least be careful, Izuku. Who knows what's out there at this hour." Inko said.
"We'll be fine. C'mon Kacchan." Izumi said, carefully grabbing his arm and wrapping it over her shoulder. The two mothers helped Izumi get him out of the door and outside the house.
"Just let us know if you need any help, Izuku." Inko said.
"Bye mom, bye Mrs. Bakugo! I had a lot of fun tonight!" Izumi said, trying to wave at them.
Izumi had to walk the entire way back to Katsuki's place on her own, and in heels, it felt like she had been walking for hours.
'Why did I say I could walk him back home? I'm gonna regret wearing these heels tomorrow.' Izumi thought. It didn't help that Katsuki passed out, so Izumi ended up dragging him most the second half of the walk back.
