108: Talk Fast

Izumi woke up early and got dressed right away. She fixed her now shoulder length hair and put her contacts in, she wore one of the presentation suits and a necktie. 

"I see you're getting ready pretty early." Emra said, entering her bedroom. 

"Yeah, I just want to make sure I'm there before everyone else. This is an important day since I can finally show everyone what I've been capable of." Izumi said. 

"Then I'll come with you to make sure nothing bad happens." Emra said, Izumi nodded.

Both greenettes arrived at the facility and noticed everyone else was still working like it was a normal day. 

"The presentation will be down that hall in a few hours." Izumi said. 

"Do you have all your notes prepared?" Emra asked. 

"Yup, my notes are right in my office. I'll just go and check to make sure I left them there and see if it's everything for my speech." Izumi said. 

"Call me if you need anything else." Emra said, Izumi nodded again and went to her office.

'Huh, that's weird, I could've sworn I left my notes on my desk. Oh it's fine, I'll just rewrite them since I have time.' Izumi thought and pulled some fresh paper and wrote all of her notes as fast as she could. 

There was a knock on the door and Melissa opened the door and saw Izumi sitting at her desk. 

"Hey Izumi... what're you doing?" Melissa asked. 

"I think I misplaced my notes so I need to write them as fast as I can. These are the same notes I need for my speech for today." Izumi said. 

"Makes sense, that's strange you would misplace something, when you usually don't unless you're in a rush." Melissa said. 

"Yeah, I could've sworn I left them on my desk before I left here yesterday. It's fine since I still have everything memorized, this is just in case I forget something in my speech." Izumi said.

Izumi felt her phone buzz in her pocket and pulled it out to see it was a text from Katsuki. 

"Kacchan, why's he texting me?" Izumi said, opening her phone. 

The fucking airport is somehow delayed and I won't be able to get there anytime soon! 

Izumi froze, this isn't what she was expecting to read. 

"What did Dynamite say?" Melissa asked. 

"He... He said the airport flight to I-Island got delayed... but it wasn't delayed when I left this morning." Izumi said. 

"That's weird, and it just so happens to be when he's supposed to be here, right?" Melissa said. Izumi got flashbacks to when Katsuki came to her doorstep on her birthday. Izumi jumped out of her chair and grabbed her phone. 

"Izumi, what is it?" Melissa asked.

Izumi opened up her phone and went through her contacts and called the person she thought that could help. Before the person could say anything on the other end, Izumi got impatient and spoke first. 

"All Might, I need a favor!" Izumi yelled. 

"Y-Young Midoriya, is everything alright?" All Might asked. 

"Not exactly! Ka- I mean, Mr. Dynamite is stuck at the airport trying to get to I-Island, but he said the flight coming to I-Island has been delayed. We need him here today for a press conference, do you think you can let him ride on your private jet?" Izumi asked.
