74: Give Me a Chance

'What the fuck is this!?!?' Katsuki yelled in his head.

Izumi looked at the key she was given and froze when she realized this was no ordinary room. 

'T-This is... the romantic suite for a newly married couple!' Izumi yelled in her head. 

'What the fuck is Deku thinking? This isn't even funny, this is annoying!' Katsuki thought. 

"O-Okay, let's just act like this is not for us. I can sleep on the couch and you can take the bed-" 

"No." Katsuki said. 

"Huh?" 

"You can sleep on the bed, I'm fine sleeping on the couch." Katsuki said calmly. 

"Oh, o-okay..." Izumi said. 

Both of them felt really awkward and this room was not doing them any favors.

Izumi thought opening the window would make herself feel better, so she opened and saw the view of the ocean, it was practically neighboring the building. 

"Wow, the ocean's so pretty right now." Izumi said. Katsuki looked up at her as she was smiling and admiring the view. 

"Then let's go." Katsuki said. 

"What?" 

"You heard me, let's go." Katsuki said. 

"B-But it's already pretty late and-" 

"And I don't want to be in this room right now, so let's go." Katsuki interrupted. Izumi took a deep breath and they left their hotel room.

They got onto the beach and the wind was much stronger than it was when they arrived. Katsuki stood at a distance and admired Izumi as she looked so happy walking onto the sand. 

"Kacchan, come here with me! The water looks really nice!" Izumi said, motioning her hand to come. 

'Tch- this is a trap.' Katsuki thought as he was walking up to her. Katsuki stood next to her and she was smiling at the view of the ocean and how the water was hitting her feet.

As it was getting dark in the sky, it looked like the ocean was somehow starting to glow. Izumi stood in the water and her eyes went wide-eyed to see the water was glowing a neon blue. 

"Wah, hey Kacchan, look at this!" Izumi said. Katsuki looked down at the water and could see the water glowing neon blue. 

"What the hell is that?" 

"It looks like fireflies! These must be the sea fireflies that I saw when I looked up this place! It's so pretty!" Izumi said.

'Wait- she wanted to come here just to see this? What's the big-' he froze as he saw the most beautiful sight. Izumi was standing in the water, as the water was up past her knees and she was holding her hair back with her hand and smiling at him. 

"Kacchan, you should come closer, it's really pretty right here!" Izumi said. Katsuki felt his heart racing and his cheeks getting warm, his heart was beating so fast it was throbbing again. He slowly took a few steps into the water and she held out her hand for him. 

"C'mon, it's really pretty!" Izumi said. He took a deep breath and grabbed her hand and looked down at the water to see that it really was pretty. 

"See, isn't it pretty?" Izumi said. Katsuki wasn't looking at the water though, he was looking at the smiling greenette next to him. 

"Ah- yeah... it's really pretty..." Katsuki said.

They got back inside and entered their room, not sure what to say to each other.
