109: Pain

Izumi walked all the way to David Shields' office and had no idea what this was going to be about. 

"Midoriya, has everything been settled?" David asked. 

"Yes sir." 

"And that includes Dynamite's new suit?" 

"Yes sir." 

Although Izumi knew there was nothing wrong with Katsuki's suit, she still did get a thought of worry once David asked her that. 

"The press just arrived, so please be prepared to start soon." David said. 

"Yes sir, Mr. Dynamite has just changed into his new suit, so everything is ready." Izumi said. 

"Good, then don't mess this up." 

"Yes sir."

Izumi sighed as she arrived back at her office. 

"What's up with you now?" 

"Nothing... my boss said we need to go now." Izumi said. As they were about to leave, Izumi noticed something right away and grabbed Katsuki's hand. 

"Oi- what're you-" 

"That's not right." Izumi said, looking at his hand. 

"Yah- what isn't?" 

"These gloves, these aren't the gloves I gave you." Izumi said, looking up at him. 

"What? They're the same ones that were with the suit." Katsuki said. Izumi looked around and didn't see where her version of the gloves were. 

"C'mon, let's go to the lab really quick and they might be in there." Izumi said, still holding his hand and having him follow her.

"Found em yet?" Katsuki said. Izumi looked through the entire lab, and just when she was about to give up, she saw something. 

"Aha! Here they are!" Izumi said, grabbing her version of the gloves. 

"How the hell did you lose them?" Katsuki said, as Izumi handed them to him. 

"I'm not sure, it seems I've been losing stuff all morning. Just hurry and put them on, we're gonna be late." Izumi said.

"There you two are! The press have been waiting for you to come, so can you start before the boss steps in?" the Assistant Director said. 

"Y-Yes!" Izumi said and had to take a deep breath. 

She stepped in front of the press and felt all eyes on her as she was just about to begin her speech. She looked up to see Emra and Takashi were there to her surprise, she was relieved that Katsuki was there, so she began.

"Hello everyone, my name is Izumi Midoriya, and I am the designer and scientist who was given the project of making and completing a new design for our Number 1 hero; Dynamite. I have come here to present everything that this suit has been updated to become, so please save all of your questions at the very end-" 

Just before Izumi could continue her speech, the lights went out! Izumi knew this was another hazard, someone was definitely trying to stop her. 

"The power went out, now of all times?" Melissa said. Izumi sighed, but she stayed strong and kept a smile on her face. 

"Don't worry everyone! I will be able to go and check the power. All of you remain here and I will take care of this." Izumi yelled as she walked out from their sight.
