158: Yours

Izumi quickly grabbed the remote and turned on the tv and it went to the news channel right away. 

"News reports from earlier today have been said that Izumi Midoriya was sighted and almost assaulted by Rin Kōkogaku who was recently arrested as he was charged for sexual assault and could've been charged for 2nd-degree homicide for leaving other women with terrible injuries. We have video evidence that it seems Midoriya fought back and ended up taking Mr. Kōkogaku to the ground. Mr. Kōkogaku had also just been filed for divorce by his then wife, Sophie Gem, and will be facing another charge as he has attacked Midoriya a second time." the news said.

"I don't believe it... it was recorded?" Izumi said. 

The tv showed the video evidence of exactly what happened that same day when Rin pushed her against the door and she fought back. 

"It has been said that Izumi Midoriya was a hero at one time, but now works as a scientist. As it seems Midoriya knew how to handle the situation and fought Kōkogaku back to save herself from any harm. Luckily Midoriya wasn't harmed, and she is safe. News has spread that there will be an interview done by Sophie Gem to do an interview with Midoriya to clear up everything that has been happening recently." the news said.

Izumi sat down on the couch, at first she was fine, but now knowing that there is video evidence of her fighting back against Rin scared her. 

"Oh man, I really screwed up!" Izumi said, holding her arms together. 

"Oi- it's not that bad." 

"Yes it is, Kacchan. This could damage my reputation for my job. I-I thought it was fine at first because I fought back, but now I don't know what to do." Izumi said. 

Katsuki sighed, he sat down next to her and carefully grabbed her shoulders and turned her body to face him. 

"There is no reason why you would be the bad guy." Katsuki said, she froze.
Katsuki pulled her towards him and wrapped his arms around her and hugged her. 

"It was that guy's own damn fault for doing this to you. It was only natural for you to fight back, I would've." Katsuki said, as he patted her head. 

Izumi lifted her head and looked up at him. 

"But-" He pecked her forehead. 

"Geez, quit overthinking things, nerd. You did just fine. Okay, Izuku?" he said with a soft smile. 

"O-Okay..." she said with a soft blush. 
Just being in his arms made Izumi feel safe, and she was getting the warmth that she needed most of all. 

"C'mon, go get changed, we're going out." Katsuki said, getting up from the couch. 

"We are? Where're we going this time?" 

"You'll know."

"Izumi!" 

"Izuku!" both Mitsuki and Inko yelled as they hugged the little greenette. 

"We saw it all over the news, we were so worried!" 

"Are you hurt anywhere, Izuku?" Mitsuki and Inko asked. 

"I'm okay, just a little shaken from it but that's all." Izumi said. 

"Arg- why didn't you go with her, brat!" Mitsuki yelled, looking up at her son. 

"Tch- she didn't tell me she was gonna meet that shitty reporter." Katsuki said. 

"Hmph, as her boyfriend you need to know where she's going at all times! Oh Izumi, are you sure you're okay? You weren't hurt were you?" Mitsuki asked.
