173: I'm Gonna Love You

"K-Kacchan?" 

Without letting him say anything, Izumi immediately shifted into a cat and ran away as fast as she could. 

"Wait- DEKU!!!" Katsuki yelled, but he was already too late, as she was out of his sight. 

'Why is she running? Is she afraid that I saw her in a hero suit?' he thought.

Izumi tried to unlock the door to her apartment as fast as she could and then slammed the door shut behind her and ripped her hero suit off of her and ran straight to her room. 

'This is my fault! I shouldn't have waited so long, but now Kacchan has seen me in my hero suit! I'm sure he's mad now about me hiding it from him. This wasn't how it was supposed to go.' she thought, as she held her pillow and tears poured from her eyes. 

She was so scared and instantly regretted doing this.

Katsuki stood there in his hero suit, and waited in the park a little bit as it started snowing. 

'Why was she hiding her face, and why did she make that face when she saw me? What is Deku thinking?' he thought. 

"What're you doing out here?" Katsuki looked over and saw Emra standing there. 

"I just finished a villain, can't I stand out here?" Katsuki said. Emra noticed his face seemed a bit troubled about something. 

"Something on your mind? Wouldn't you usually be going to Izumi's after finishing off a villain?" Emra said. 

"Yeah, but... I saw Deku." Katsuki said. 

"Okay, so you saw her, what're you trying to say?" Emra said.

"I saw Deku... in a suit." Emra blinked a few times and then snapped back to reality. 

"You saw her in her hero suit?!?!" Emra yelled. 

"Y-Yeah, but she ran away as soon as I saw her." Katsuki said. Emra was surprised, she noticed Katsuki's reaction when he said that, but she got worried about Izumi. 

"So... Izumi hasn't told you that she went back to hero work?" Emra said. 

"No, did you know?" Katsuki asked. 

"I was one of the first people to know. But that doesn't matter right now. Right now, you need to go and see her." Emra said. 

"Huh? Right now?" 

"Yes. She's scared." Katsuki froze. 

"Scared? Of what?" 

"Of what you might think about seeing her in a hero suit." Emra said.

Katsuki looked at her. 

"Of what I think?" 

"Yes, she's been hiding this from you for a while now. She was worried that you wouldn't like her doing hero work again. But that's all I'm going to say, so you need to go see her and talk to her!" Emra said. 

She started pushing him to move his feet, he wasn't prepared for her to push him. 

"Go! She needs you!" Emra said and pushed him again to the point that he was walking on his own and then soon was running. 

'How long has Deku been doing this, and why hasn't she told me about it?' he thought, while running towards her place.

He stopped in front of the door and was trying to catch his breath. He knew she was home, but the door gave off this sad and depressing vibe to him.
