188: Magic

Two days had passed since Katsuki's talk with Takashi and this time Katsuki was ready.

( Flashback to the night before )

"We're going somewhere tomorrow? Where?" Izuku asked. 

"You'll know when we get there. Just make sure to dress nice." Katsuki said. 

"Hey! I always dress nice! You're the one that needs to get used to dressing nicer." Izuku said. 

"Yeah right."

( Back to Present )

Katsuki checked to see if he still had that small black box in his pocket, he opened it and the ring was still inside and still sparkling. His heart was beating out of his chest, he could feel himself shaking from how excited he was. 

He felt his phone buzz in his pocket and he quickly took a sneak to see if it was who he thought it was. 

We're all ready on our end, bro! Where're you? 

It was a text from Kirishima, which meant it was time for them to leave the house. 

Katsuki had texted the Bakusquad to help him out this time, and he made sure that everything was perfect this time.

"You ready, Deku?" 

"Hold on, got it. How do I look?" Izuku asked, coming out of the closet. 

Katsuki's face turned flush as Izuku was wearing a cream colored dress shirt that was tucked into her black pencil skirt that had a small slit on the side. She also wore an ash gray sweater over that and some heels. 

"Where're we going, you never told me, Kacchan?" Izuku asked. Katsuki snapped back to reality and coughed to clear his throat. 

"You'll know." Katsuki said, leading her out of the house. 

"Is it far from here? Did you ask Kirishima if you could borrow his car again?" Izuku asked. 

"No, so stop asking questions. We're walking there." Katsuki said. 

"Oh, okay."

They held hands the entire time and Izuku continued to look around everywhere to see if this was some kind of surprise. 

'Kacchan doesn't usually hide stuff from me, what kind of surprise is he pulling. He never wears nice clothes either.' Izuku thought, glancing up to see Katsuki wearing an ash gray suit and tie. 

'He's always looked good in a suit. I wonder if we're going to his mom's for some family gathering.' Izuku thought.

They walked through their old neighborhood, surprisingly nobody spotted them. 

Izuku noticed right away that they'd already passed his mom's place and they were getting close to her mom's place. 

'Maybe it's something at my mom's?' Izuku thought. 

But soon they walked right past her mom's place and Katsuki didn't say anything. 

'What's going on?' Izuku thought. 

They walked much farther than Izuku would expect and was surprised to see the small park that they used to play at when they were kids.

Izuku looked around the park, no one else was around, and once she got a glance at what was behind the water fountain; there was a sight. 

It was a large blanket laying on the grass and a few baskets of food.
