128: Love Talk

The rest of her week off, Izumi managed to get help from Melissa, Emra and Kendra on moving everything to her new office. 

By the end of the week, Izumi had finally moved into her new office and was the new Assistant Director. 

"Hey Izumi! We're having a retirement party for the previous Assistant Director, do you think you can go?" Melissa asked. 

"Yeah, I've got time for tonight!" Izumi said. 

Izumi sat down at her new desk and knew right away it would take some time for her to get used to this new office since it was 3 times bigger than her previous office. As she sat there, she heard her phone ringing and saw the name: Dynamite. 

This was different than just any phone call, it was Face time!

She quickly brushed her hair and set her phone on the desk for it to stay still. She took a deep breath and answered the phone. Once she answered, she felt her heart racing and her face was blushing as she saw Katsuki on the other end standing there wearing the suit she made for him. 

"K-Kacchan!" 

"Hey Deku... can you see me?" Katsuki asked. 

"I-I can see you perfectly clear!" Izumi said nervously. 

"Hah- good..." Katsuki pulled the camera towards him and looked closer at the screen.

"Heh- your hair's all frizzy." Katsuki said with a smirk. 

"Ah- I-I've been moving stuff all week and haven't paid attention to my hair all week. Does it look bad?" Izumi asked. 

"Tch- if I said it was bad, I would be yelling by now." Katsuki said. Izumi couldn't help but blush, she started playing with her hair. 

"Aren't you gonna say anything about me?" Katsuki said. 

"Huh? O-Oh right! You look... really good in that suit, Kacchan..." Izumi said nervously. 

"Of course I do, my girlfriend made it for me." Katsuki said.

Though Izumi was happy hearing those words, she had to squint her eyes and look closer at the screen. 

"Kacchan... you look really tired. You have bags under your eyes." Izumi said. 

"Ah- I'm fine." Katsuki said.

 "No you're not. The last time you said that, you got a fever and I had-" 

"Izuku-" 

Izumi froze and looked at the screen. 

"I'm tired and can't sleep without you." Katsuki said with a soft expression. 

Izumi felt her chest throbbing, he looked desperate at this point. 

"I-I-" 

"I miss you, Izuku." Katsuki said.

Izumi felt tears coming down her eyes, and she quickly rubbed her face right away. 

"Yah- don't be crying now! This is only the first fucking week of me being gone!" Katsuki yelled. 

"I'm sorry Kacchan, it's just... I miss you very very much! It was hard when you were in the hospital for two weeks, I just hope I can handle not seeing you for a few more weeks now." Izumi said, trying to smile it off. 

"Gah- you think I can handle this either! I just wanna fucking hold you!" Katsuki yelled. 

"I-I know... But I can do it. I will always be thinking of you even when I'm at work. And as the Number 1 hero, you can't be distracted, because I don't want you to come home covered with injuries." Izumi said.
